micheal_warren Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 The paintings were very cool! Now its time for the athletes!
huaiwei Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Yes I prefer John Macbeth and Keith Quinn. The Muic is not overly clear. I am not sure what is the source for the feed I am getting, but I seem to hear Indian accent amongst the commentators, and the music has been very clear.
micheal_warren Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Time for the 71 nations! Australia kick things off as they were the last hosts
huaiwei Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 The Aussies lead the parade and waltz into the stadium...
huaiwei Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I cant hear the music at all! Largely Indian music playing now. Anyway nice touch of projecting the country name on the blimp. Very nice!
cormiermax Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 I love these announcers, much better than the circus announcers at Vancouver.
Rich Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I still live the Manchester 2002 parade of athletes. Great music. However I looked securely dodgy sat in the temporary stand wearing a White poncho! Sorry I meant love not live. Bleedin iPhone!
DesmondChan Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 The athletes accreditation card looked like Singapore 2010's. Oh... I miss YOG... 1
huaiwei Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 The athletes accreditation card looked like Singapore 2010's. Oh... I miss YOG... LOL me too!
huaiwei Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 CANADA!! And a roar from the crowd greets their entry.
micheal_warren Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Great to see the team from the Cook Islands
huaiwei Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 It is a nice touch that the announcers would add comments like "And from the South Pacific...the Cook Islands". Breaks the monotony of it all, and adds a little bit of geography lesson for the lesser known countries. Good!
Rich Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Good to see englands, Indian inspired red tunics
Rob2012 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I don't like our uniforms, they look a bit B&Q
DesmondChan Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 England special suit for Delhi 2010. Thumb up for the team attire designer!
