SkiFreak
Most of you have probably seen this already, but I thought I'd post it for those that haven't. It's from the NBC Opening Ceremony pre-show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV_041oYDjg&feature=related It's amusing to read the comments on the clip's Youtube page. That fluff piece seemed like he was reading the back of a book about Canada from a Barnes and Noble's bargain bin. Ha. I remember when I went to work the next day and people were telling me about Canadian's living only in the first 100 miles of their country ....just like Tom said. I shouldn't really dig into that clip that much though. For years John Madden was on Monday Night Football and said some of the craziest quotes like "Don't worry about the horse being blind. Just load the wagon" and got some of the best ratings on tv.
SkiFreak
That fluff piece... Of course it's a fluff piece. All Olympic Games pre-shows that introduce the host country are fluff pieces.
