Rafa Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 A group of people will evaluate each bid and provide a report of their findings: Executive Director: Sir Rols Chair: TNMP All those interested simply add your name and you area of "interest". I will look at Sports Venues, Games Concept and Transport.
Lachie Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 I'll be head inspector of corruption in bids. Thus I have found all bids except mine (which is yet to be launched) to breach some kind of rule in the IOC charter/bid requirements. You are all suspended from the bid and thus Melbourne2020 is the winner by default *insert Simpsons quote* "The two greatest words in the English language, "DE" "FAULT" "DE" "FAULT" "DE" "FAULT" "DE" "FAULT"...... Congratulations Melbourne 2020.
Rafa Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 You're not Gold Coast so no (2018) de-fault for you.
Lachie Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 You're not Gold Coast so no (2018) de-fault for you. I was at a conference on the Gold Coast for the last few days and the MC wished good luck to Gold Coast on their bid to host the 2018 games against, and I quote, "some Sri Lankan city" It just so happened we had a presentation by the head of the Australian WC Bid there as well.
