Many are considering this Copa America to be one of the worst in recent years. Most of the matches ended in a draw, with teams scoring at least just once (with the exception of Chile).

I hope the playing level will increase with the upcoming matches.

I'm happy Chile won, but the team played bad imho... I was happy Mexico scored one goal so all the people saying we are the obvious future champions finally shut up! Chile should be between the semifinalists but it's not the best team in the world as some media are saying. We play offensively most of the time and we reach several times to the other side but they can't score! The same happened with Honduras and Switzerland in the World Cup... and instead of scoring tons of goals, we scored just one each match and we got the second place of the group (and then we had to play against Brazil, FAIL).

But at least the match was more entertaining than all the others... this Copa is sucking big time.

Copa America final gets Monumental ok after fan riot

(Reuters) - The Copa America final will go ahead at the Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires despite damage caused by rioting River Plate fans following their team's recent relegation, organisers said on Wednesday.

"It's going to be tight but we'll get there," tournament organising committee president Jose Luis Meiszner said after an inspection of the giant stadium by South American Football Confederation officials.

The final, the only match of the 12-nation tournament to be played in the capital, is scheduled for July 24 at the 62,000-capacity Monumental that doubles as the national stadium.

Workers are racing against the clock to repair the damage after River "barrabrava" hooligan fans rioted after the team's 3-1 aggregate defeat 10 days ago in a playoff with Belgrano, who were promoted from the Nacional B division.

"We were worried about it (but) the mere possibility of having to think about a change (of venue) would have been pathetic," Meiszner told reporters.

The damage includes 4,000 seats ripped out of their fixtures in the stands, many thrown onto the pitch, along with broken glass barriers and windows.

1- Colombia - 4 pts

2- Costa Rica - 3 pts

3- Argentina - 2 pts

4- Bolivia - 1 pts

Next round:

Argentina x Costa Rica

Colombia x Bolivia

Argentina must win if they want to stay in the competition.

Ten years ago who could imagine Venezuela leading a group with Brazil and Paraguay???

BTW, Brazil needs a better coach. Mr Menezes already showed how mediocre he is.

Definitely not a good match for us today, we gave too much chances to Argentina and they took advantage to woke up, definitely stadium, the pressure and playing with the local team came against us.

Let's see what Venezuela can do to help us.
