Idiot Japanese Ref, Bastos should have gotten his second yellow and been sent off.

Btw, I hate own goals and think they are ridiculous.

They have 20 minutes left to recover in a match where it seems they were dominating clearly.

Could Brazil be the first South American team not to make it to the semifinals? They also lost in the quarter final round four years ago...

That's all! The title of hexacampeão will have to wait at least four more years, but they might get it in Brazil 2014.

So, one of the Netherlands, Uruagay or Ghana will be in the final. I'm not sure many predicted that.

Brazil's next world cup match will be in four year's time in Brazil; obviously they have no qualifiers. Lots and lots of time to sort things out.

It's nice to see Netherlands continue to strike and work up to the end, even when leading. Unlike Ghana vs US who seemed to just hold the ball, perform fake injuries, and generally do anything to keep the ball out of play. I guess you can't blame Ghana for that, it seems to be the way of the game when time is on your side. But congratulations to NED for performing with class.
