Vancouver Canucks fans warned to behave or elseBy: ctvbc.ca Date: Monday Apr. 12, 2010 5:14 PM PT Vancouver police are preparing for the Canucks' playoff run, warning fans Monday to keep their drinking and horn-honking under control. "I think we're all hoping for a long playoff run," Const. Lindsey Houghton told reporters at a press conference. "We want people to come down, we want you to celebrate, but we want you to do it responsibly." He said that police would consider asking liquor stores to shut down early, as they did several times during the Olympics, if public drunkenness becomes a problem... Here in Kelowna, up to this point, there were still a number of cars driving around with Go Canada Go flags on their windows, however, they are disappearing and more Canucks flags have been showing up, as always is the case this time of year.
