Amsterdam Unveils Olympic Stadium

It would be called "The Great Eye"

Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Amsterdam Olympic Organizing Comitee (AMOC) unveiled this tuesday the possible Olympic Stadium they're going to use in case the capital of the Tulip Nation wins the bid for 2020 Olympic Summer Games.

Due to the fact that it already existed an "Amsterdam olympic Stadium", the sports temple would be called Grote Ogen Stadion (Great Eye Stadium) due to it's big circular shape with a hole in the center. The Great Eye Stadium is the first of most sports buildings unveiled that would form part of the new Amsterdam Olympic Park which are still waiting to be unveiled.

The Olympic Park would also count with a water sports arena that will be called "H2O Dome", A gymnastics arena, a baseball park, and some other important sports arenas that will be complemented with athlete's villages and a media center.

Miami decided to postpone Olympic bid

The city of Miami gave up the bid for 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

During a press conference, in American Airlines Arena, the bid team said they had analyzed that 2020 would not be the best spot for an application from United States.

Some unofficial sources indicates that the Miami Bid Team received advices from prophets and seers who have pointed out that the city would host the games in 2024.

Nobody from the team of Miami confirmed this.

The cities of Lisbon, Atlanta, Amsterdam and Havana have already confirmed their bids for the 2020 games.

The team declined to say whether Miami would support any of these applicant cities.
