Danny, Kendegra did win with Miami in the last SOG comp. I think that was for SOG 2024.

Oooops... So Miami can not bid, right?

I didn't joined the last comp and don't know who won..

I think if you didn't see his entry...then it would be OK.

If I can not join the comp, no problems, I understand...

Just waiting the Comp Comittee to say if I can bid with Miami or not.

In case of Miami be rejected, I have a plan B =]]] No worries smile.gif

Thx Baron, really, I didn't see the last comp for 2024...

Now why is everyone copying me with the use of Spanish in American bid city logos? Why sure, it's an official language state wise, but say Spanish is a real official language in Cuba, not merely province or state wise! Whereas Spanish is not an official language for the whole of the US. :P

A bid from Miami without things written in Spanish means 90% of Miami residents will not read bid related texts in their native language... ;)

The Atlanta BId Committee would like to show the world our great city and hope to be welcoming the world for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Good video. Brings back many memories of my 2.5 years in Atlanta. If it weren't for the humidity and the pollen of those friggin' sand pines all over the city, it really is a charming and tolerable metropolis.

The Amsterdam Olympic Organizing Comitee (AMOC) understood the situation of the last bid logo for Olympic Summer Games in 2020 and due to the alteration that removing the Olympic Rings could cause, they presented the new and definitive logo which is this new one you see here.

This time the interlocking flames form a tulip (Netherlands national flower) while the color frames represent the tulip fields as seen from the air.

Well, if you wanted to get really nitpicky, many of the logos still don't conform. The rings are all able to be incorporated come candidate stage - but flames and torches etc are out. Remember Chicago 2016 was forced to change its bid logo because it had a flame.

Why don't you all assume the bids are at candidate stage - all of us love to design a good logo which uses the five rings!!!

Miami's logo is not a flame itself... It's a latin dancer or a competitor celebrating forming the letter "M" for Miami!

Very interesting the design concept of Lisbon 2020 bid. Loved it! Congrats, Demetrius! Well done job!

Otherwise, how I hate Cristiano Ronaldo, the less humble person on the face of Earth...

Thank you DannyelBrazil :)

About Cristiano Ronaldo, I have to say that I do not really know him.

For me he is the only Portuguese sportsman really known outside the country (I just forgot Luis Figo).

Is Cristiano Ronaldo so terrible as you said?

Hmmm, you're welcome...

Well, nobody can deny C. Ronaldo is a great player, maybe the best o Portugal's soccer/football history, he's very beloved in Portugal and Europe, but in interviews, when talking about his skills he's very arrogant. But, Demetrius, it's only my personal opinion.

For a Portuguese bid ambassador, Cristiano Ronaldo is just the perfect choice. Indeed, I believe your Lisbon bid seems to be very one of the best in this race, by seeing the quality of logo and stuff...

Good Luck!
