Rei
Gold for Italy in slalom.. and what a gold! Italy didn't win a gold in slalom since Tomba's triumph in Albertville 92. Also in Canada, Calgary 88, Tomba won the same gold. Plus, Giuliano Razzoli is from the appennine region of Emilia (just like Alberto Tomba) and this make it sound really special. It's like "pass the baton". ..and least but not last this gold saves (only in part) Coni's ass from the possible worst performance in winter games since Innsbruck '64. ! Ode to Razzoli! Citius Altius Fortius
I am glad for Italia, but I think it might be a little bit to early to call Razzoli the new "Tomba"
Rei
^^ As you can see, I put a question mark to the title. So far, the premises are all there.
Fox334
Well, its nice to see that Italy at least has a gold. Still, tough, its true that CONI has some soul-searching to do. But still, brilliant performance by Razzoli. Trivia: third silver by Ivaca... Will he ever win gold?
