LuigiVercotti
On a semi-related issue, would the Whistler track (alongside most recent Winter Olympic tracks) be one of the most expensive facilities developed for any sports, summer or winter, based on the quantity of events held at such a facility. According to this info sheet from the centre itself it cost $104.9 million, which translates into roughly $13 million per sliding event. This seems a heck of a price to pay for 8 golds across three sports (the best comparision I can find is the London 2012 slalom canoe course which in 2009 was expected to cost $47 million, which translates into almost $12 million per event. Makes you wonder about the price of hosting a games...

Citius Altius Fortius
... the German ladies are really annoyed about themselves - they know that it is their fault that they missed some medals... congratulations to Canada Edited February 25, 2010 by Citius Altius Fortius
Faster
I wouldn't say that. Martini wasn't comfortable in all 4 runs and the Canadians had all 4 fastest times, including 3 track records.

Martini wasn't comfortable in all 4 runs and the Canadians had all 4 fastest times, including 3 track records. I just heard and interview with her and she said that she is annoyed about herself, since she didn't find the right way to run this track - it is her own fault
