SkiFreak
Just heard on the news that Snowboard Cross was created by a Vancouverite. Interesting, I didn't know that.
stir.ts
Let's hope Jacobellis has learned not to showboat tomorrow! She was just havin' fun, that what snowboarding is all about. Kinda' a bummer for a while but I'm sure she got over it faster than everyone else. I can't imagine she's gonna get to the top this time, but I can never imagine how anyone gets past all the odds. Hope she does well. p.s. not sure if you saw this ....... Sir Rols
Jacobellis out! I do feel sorry for her. Her Olympic Demons continue. Perhaps a bit of relief to Canadians now, though. Go Maelle! BTW - amazing vistas of Downtown Vancouver from Cypress today. Stunning. A real icing on the cake to an exciting event. NY20??
Jacobellis is overrated. Pass it on. More... Author has no idea what he's talking about - namely, Snowboard Cross is such a fickle sport. Unfortunate how things turned out for her, but to moan about NBC's hype of one of its many poster-childs is just dumb when the hype was legitimate. And I wonder what he would of thought if those two Koreans didn't fall over each other on Saturday and Ohno ended up fourth.
Rob2012
This sport is a revelation. Really enjoyed watching it the last few days.
Rei
And Italy's Schiavon has just been disqualified in his race. Very suspitious decision. He fairly qualified and then misteriously disqualified.
