Wow those 7 years sure went by fast don't you think?

Unfortunately I can't be in Vancouver for the opening ceremonies, but I got a ticket to watch at the local Famous Players theater (don't got cable or satellite at home).

This proud Canadian working in Asia will watch the OC proudly at home decked out in full gears purchased from vancouver2010.com!!!

And I'm probably gonna cry seeing how I cried just watching the With Glowing Hearts / Des Plus Brillants Exploits videos by Vanoc...

Forgive me, but...

O Canada!

Our home and native land!

True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,

The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Now, the 2010 Canadian dream will come ture soon...

And as a Chinese, we wish Vancouver 2010 would be outstanding. And i believe it must be.

People all over the world will be with you to face the exciting moment, your moment, our moment.

Because of time difference, i still need one night sleep. And i believe that it will make me more dynamic to enjoy the opening ceremony.

And also tomorrow is the eve of Chinese Luna New Year's Day, we wish you all in GB, have a nice Olympic "feast"

18 months ago (just after my return of the Beijing Games), I had absolutelly no idea that I will go to the Vancouver Games since my intention for 2010 at that time was to go to South Africa instead for the World Cup.

This morning, starting to preparing my luggages, I'm very happy that I changed my mind for the WOG.

First thing I put in my luggage was my big canadian flag, the same one I had at the Atlanta stadium when Donovan Bailey got his Gold in 9,84s, and the same one I had in Beijing for two more canadian's Gold (in wrestling and rowing). I hope with the events I choosed to go to watch seven more Golds for Canada.

Good luck Vancouver!

7 years ago I was in my friend's house to witness Vancouver won the bid.

Also from that moment, I knew about GamesBids.com. :)

It's time for Canadian to shine!

Well, it's been almost six years for me at GamesBids, and the big constant in all that time has been Vancouver as host in waiting. It has helped ad to the Canadian atmosphere of the boards and given us some of the boards great members. Now it's finally time and I'm getting excited.

As a veteran of a games in my own home town, I know just how excited you Vancouverites and Canucks must be. Make the most of it! You're in for the time of your lives and probably the most sentimentally patriotic times you'll ever have. It really brings back that sher utter exhileration I felt myself almost 10 years ago. It's gonna be a great party, so have fun! fun! fun! Lap it up, drink iot in and seize the moment!

Happy Games Canada!

And Happy Games GamesBidders - I love games time on the board, and this is shaping up to be a vintage one for the board!
