mr.x Posted February 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2010 I'm at the 8th last row, and just glad to be there! Right now I'm at an all new level of pumped...just came back from the torch relay. There were about 10,000 university students gathered at the centre of campus, and at least a thousand students ran with the torch along the boulevard out of UBC and into West Point Grey Village....and holy, I have never seen so many people at West Point Grey Village. There had to be another 10,000 people there just waiting for the torch and everyone was cheering. It was incredible and it really does bring a tear to my eye, it was as if the whole community came out. FYI: West Point Grey Village is part of the City of Vancouver.
