Citizen-Seth
That looks really cool! Much better than Beijing's yellow warped boxes.
NY20??
I'm so glad Vancouver, unlike past hosts, didn't just plaster their Look onto a regular podium and called it day. They came up with a really nice, no-brainer concept and executed it well. And those outfits don't look too bad either. Well done.

GeeCee
Looks very nice. I wonder if they used BC pine beetle wood like they did for the convention centre..
4gamesandcounting
Love it love it love it love it. It is very big! Reminds me of the Richmond Venue. So I'm guessing one at the BC Place, One at Whistler and one at Pacific Colosseum (for the Figure Skating?). Plus a mega one at GM PLace for the Hockey? Faster
Am I the only one that doesn't like these? And the flowers? They are ugly. What's with all the green? No body has beaten SLC flowers, a beautiful cluster of yellow.
SkiFreak
Looks very nice. I wonder if they used BC pine beetle wood like they did for the convention centre.. It does look like Pine Beetle wood. Nice podium.

No body has beaten SLC flowers, a beautiful cluster of yellow. What I like about it is that its different. I didn't like it at first but now I do. And I do agree about the flowers. They need some color or something. Salt Lake's flowers were really cool...
NY20??
This podium really expresses the theme of the natural and the organic meets the urban and the modern established by the Look. Great job again.
SkiFreak
It reminds me of one of those wooden dinosaur skeleton toys you can buy and put together.

stir.ts
It's pretty neat looking, I think it's one of the more successful design elements so far (I'm hoping the couldron/campfire will blow everything else away). It is reminiscent of the wood dino puzzles and a topo map.
NY20??
It is reminiscent of the wood dino puzzles and a topo map. *Topographic lines are also one of many textures used in the Look of the Games. I think Vancouver has been very consistent in terms of its design identity, while also making sure prominent design elements differ and stand out enough (logo, torch / cauldron, medal). Ikarus360
Wow. I love the podiums a lot! they fit perfectly with the nature brand theme of these games (and i like the concept of symbolizing the athletes that have climbed the mountains to their victory). This beats IMO Torino and Beijing's podium designs and i'm happy they didnt did something boring like just pasting the look of the games on a simple podium like most of the rest.
