Women's Aerials

Gold - Nina Li, China

Silver - Shuang Cheng, China

Bronze - Lydia Lassila, Australia

Men's Aerials

Gold - Steve Omischl, Canada

Silver - Ryan St. Onge, USA

Bronze - Kyle Nissen, Canada

I like this prediction but it is missing a Chinese and Belarussian

Women's Moguls

Gold - Jennifer Heil, Canada

Silver - Hannah Kearney, USA

Bronze - Shannon Bahrke, USA

Men's Moguls

Gold - Alexandre Bilodeau, Canada

Silver - Dale Begg-Smith, Australia

Bronze - Vicent Marquis, Canada

Women's Ski Cross

Gold - Kelsey Serwa, Canada

Silver - Ophelie David, France

Bronze - didn't make the national team but it was a Canadian so Ashleigh McIvor

This pick is weird, they left off McIvor and Murray the two most likely Canadian medalist IMO. Though I think Women's Ski Cross and Men's Ski Cross for that matter are the two best chances at a Canadian sweep (followed by the women's 1500m in speed skating)

Men's Ski Cross

Gold - Chris Del Bosco, Canada

Silver - Thomas Kraus, Czech Republic

Bronze - Stanley Hayer, Canada

Lindsey Vonn winning 4 gold medals? She's a great skiier but no way is she winning that many. I don't believe she'll even even medal in the Slalom, and mabye win the Silver in the Combined. She's weaker in the techincal events. As for Downhill and Super G, definitely the favorite and best chance for at most, 2 golds.

I'm finally done with my predictions.

I have Germany winning the most medals but Canada winning the most gold (well, tied with Norway):

1-Germany: 8g - 17s - 7b = 32

2-Canada: 11g - 9s - 8b = 28

3-USA: 6g - 9s - 8b = 25

4-Norway: 11g - 7s - 6b = 24

5-Austria: 7g - 4s - 9b = 20

6-Russia: 5g - 5s - 8b = 18

7-Sweden: 5g - 3s - 7g = 15

8-S.Korea: 5g - 4s - 4b = 13

9-France: 4g - 1s - 8b = 13

10-China: 5g - 3s - 4b = 12

(...)

15-Italy: 1g - 2s - 2b = 5 (Ouch!)

After going through every disciplines, here are some comments:

-Germany has by far the most depth, but not that many gold medal favorites. Their success basically depends on their sliders, Maria Reisch and Magdalena Neunner.

-It's basically the same thing for the United States. They have a lot of good athletes but not many favorites except for Lindsay Vonn and their snowboarders.

-I listed 73 realistic medal chances for Canada (meaning athletes who've been on the podium in a particular event in the last 2 years).

-I have Japan winning 8 medals, but no gold...
