Faster
English and French have the same alphabet. The countries names will be in English obviously, this isn't Quebec.
4seasonscentre
Same alphabet, but different spelling. For instance United States, Etais-Unis? I asked this question earlier. I imagine it will go in the English order as it is the official language of british columbia (only NB is bilingual) and because of the simple understanding that it is the dominant language of the spectators. Olympian2004
I'm absolutely certain that it will be the English spelling and thus the English order -- it was handled the same way in Calgary.
Roux
Torino's announcers: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=X-vnO_C-QPM Holy crap, the English announcer sounds like a cliche English speaker talking to a foreigner who doesn't understand, so they simply talk louder and more slowly. lehari
I think it was just the Closing. There weren't too many clowns (well...) and commedia del'arte elements in the Opening. The Opening was more regional and ending on a note of high theatre (Pavarotti's swan song). The theme of the Closing was "Italian Carnival". The Carnival is celebrated in Italy every year in February.

Faster
Same alphabet, but different spelling. For instance United States, Etais-Unis? I asked this question earlier. I imagine it will go in the English order as it is the official language of british columbia (only NB is bilingual) and because of the simple understanding that it is the dominant language of the spectators. But he said the English or French alphabet not alphabetical order. Edited February 9, 2010 by Faster
