4seasonscentre Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 how much will be it? I have no money
baron-pierreIV Posted December 4, 2009 Author Report Posted December 4, 2009 how much will be it? US$34.95; Can$35.95. Unfortunately, it's not free to print it either. Treat yourself to it. It's a high-quality book...if you're really into the subject. Or once it goes into Books in Print (and Bowker) by January, have your local library buy a copy. Will be having a year-end launch promo. Watch for more details in a few days.
Chateau Petrus Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 It's sure that I will buy a copy when available in Montreal's library. Very excited about it.
Olympian2004 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Baron, will the book also be available for mail order -- also from outside the United States and Canada? If yes: For all my European "compatriots" who, like me, have lost track how the dollar is right now: As of this hour, US$ 34,95 are € 23,18. And will it be hardcover or paperback?
4seasonscentre Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 US$34.95; Can$35.95. At least your exchange rate is reasonable
4seasonscentre Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 ^ that might have come out the wrong way. I mean that at least your US/C$ prices recognize the near parity of the exchange rates, not that the book is unreasonable priced.
jawnbc Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 I'm gonna download it from bittorrent, hopefully the blu-ray verson
baron-pierreIV Posted December 4, 2009 Author Report Posted December 4, 2009 I'm gonna download it from bittorrent, hopefully the blu-ray verson In a perfect world, yeah, I'd say done. But some of the image rights that I paid for exclude "electronic" versions. The royalty fees were EXORBITANT if I included 'electronic' versions. We'll have to wait and see for the 2012 edition.
micheal_warren Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Count me in for a copy. Provided that you can ship to New Zealand!!!
Olympian2004 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 So will the book be available also via mail order -- and also outside the USA and Canada? And will it be hardcover or paperback?

SkiFreak Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 Book of Secrets? I just want to know what's on page 47.
baron-pierreIV Posted December 6, 2009 Author Report Posted December 6, 2009 Book of Secrets? I just want to know what's on page 47. Nothing too exciting on page 47. But you'll have to order the other 209 pp. as well.
SkiFreak Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 I thought page 47 had something to do with aliens or the secret of Nic Cage's toupee.
krow Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 $30 for a softcover?! are you out of your tree? you're not michael chrichton.
baron-pierreIV Posted December 7, 2009 Author Report Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) $30 for a softcover?! are you out of your tree?you're not michael chrichton. No; and he's NOT me either. (Do I detect a little jealousy?) I would've wanted to price it lower...but CreateSpace (an Amazon subsidiary), Amazon and the production threshold sort of set the price...and determined that (initially) this is in the US$35 range.* So it is quality AND quantity. It is what it is. *And which is why I am also offering promos of one sort or another. Edited December 7, 2009 by baron-pierreIV
