lucas_leobas Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 To those who were shocked by the créu dance, these carioca children would make the Watermelon Woman blush. Take a look  Click Here
DannyelBrazil Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Better than kids shooting others in the school...
Sir Rols Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 The creu dance was harmless (I still for the life of me can't see what some objected to - unless they were looking for something to be shocked by). These kids, though ... yes, that's a bit too tacky!
DannyelBrazil Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Lucas, idiot thread... Should be placed on the "off topic discussion".
aluz Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 By the way, this is not in Brazil. They are clearly speaking Spanish and the music is not Brazilian as well.
danfla Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 In Brasil we speak portuguese not spanish
lucas_leobas Posted October 21, 2009 Author Report Posted October 21, 2009 My plan was perfect had you guys watched it with no sound I still laugh my ass off when I see it. That's the Single Ladies dancing baby on youtube 9 years from now!
Felipe Menegaz Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 This is reggaeton, and is not in Brazil...
MrCatra Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raxgcgNeFik /\ || this dance is great! Btw, its kinda strange for me to see kids dancing like that but I'm not hypocrite enough to judge other cultures using mine as a parameter. What I know is they're having fun.
Rogerioandrade Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 HAHAHAHA.... You got me. But... this is not Brazil, in any way. The music is not Brazilian. The children are not brazilian..... This is somewhere in the Caribbean...
DannyelBrazil Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 You got me too... But it still a off-topic thread and should not be placed here...
stir.ts Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Wherever this is, it could be Brazil, base on the other low class displays of primate-in-heat ass-flapping which the Brazilians here seem to find TERRIFICALLY FUN! Yuk.

Yuk. And also in the United States. You do know the créu is like Sunday's Mass if compared to your American hip-hop parties, right? Fell free to substitute the catholic reference to one of the religion of your preference

Fell free to substitute the catholic reference to one of the religion of your preference uhhhhhhhhhmmmmm OOOOOOOOOOkay Whatever that means, please don't' shot me, I don't have any money on me!
lucas_leobas Posted October 24, 2009 Author Report Posted October 24, 2009 "don't' shot me"? No wonder you don't understand what I write

stir.ts Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Someone is mad it got kicked out of the party earlier at Oct 2... I avoid parties in bad neighborhoods.
Victor Mata Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 I avoid parties in bad neighborhoods. Quit being childish and accept the city you supported was dismissed. I understand your disappointment but try growing up and discuss your worries and doubts about Rio 2016 as an adult not as spoiled kid.

I understand your disappointment but try growing up and discuss your worries and doubts about Rio 2016 as an adult not as spoiled kid. Spoiled kid.....maybe. You don't "understand" my disappointment because I'm not disappointed. Please stop with that. It was fun bidding and I loved the Chicago graphics and would have liked to see the brand development but THAT'S IT! The bid is over and RIO won. I think you guys are insecure crybabies who have been on the attack before and after this vote. All I really think of RIO is that it has too many dangerous violent ghettos, shabby architecture and nice beaches.
DannyelBrazil Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 "Até quando meu Deus???"* *time to learn Portuguese, stirthesoul...

Rogerioandrade Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Now we have an antropologist here... We have to admit that he is right, Dannyel. Most of our popular dances in the last ten years had sexual references. Axe, Funk, Forro etc. the only exception was the toada from the North Region
aluz Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 We have to admit that he is right, Dannyel. Most of our popular dances in the last ten years had sexual references. Axe, Funk, Forro etc. the only exception was the toada from the North Region We can definitely say that they have sensual moves and some funk songs have borderline explicit lyrics, but nothing even close like the simulation of sex seen in this video. Sensual dancing has been in our culture for a long time and is a trademark of African influence in many parts of the Americas, including the US. Brazil, the Caribbean and the US are prolific in African influenced rhythms and dances. By the way, our sensual dancing and lyrics are not different from American rap. The Funk from Rio's slums and American Gangster Rap are very much alike. Even the use of it by criminal gangs is similar. It is a matter of taste, but, by no means, it is a sign of our underdevelopment. It was a a direct consequence of the mix between European and African cultures being brought together in the Americas melting pot.
