Roger87
We still won and that's what matters and we held a brilliant games. That's not exactly what you said before. You can't use an opinion -You are free to have it- as a fact -Verifable sources, data or events- when a reality is different.

Rob2012
Tony, calm down ok? You wrongly claimed London had a technically superior bid. It didn't. It had a technically excellent bid which was, nonetheless, behind Paris' and Madrid's. What London had was a strong core message, regenerative potential, and a strong athletics legacy all of which chimed with the IOC. It was technically weaker than its rivals but its won nevertheless. Roger doesn't need to be "big enough" to say anything when he has done research you clearly haven't.

Roger doesn't need to be "big enough" to say anything when he has done research you clearly haven't. but for example - Spain could be favourites to win World Cup but Brazil might win. Same thing. The score of the bids don't matter because London won.
Roger87
We had majority of votes we won get over it. Be big enough to say it. We won. First definition of "majority" - Because London won for 4 votes. Albeit won for 4 more votes, they didn't won like RIo or Tokyo with difference of 3/1 Yes, London won and that's fine. But your arguments prior were in other line saying that London won because it was the best "technical" bid, which was not true. Then, when the evidence says otherwise you came wih a ridiculous: "But we won and what's matters". This is more a low exit for your mistake. I'll leave this discussion out, but I repeat that: "Tony, If you want to make a mature and bright debate, at least use factical evidence and real arguments in your speech, because if you continue to make these ridiculous points nobody will listen to you again". Tony E Loves Architecture
I am not a troll. I have been bullied in the past so I would never bully because it's nasty. A troll spams deliberately or bullies. I do none. Anyone who says I am a troll is a troll themselves as far as I am concerned. Now back to topic please. Palette86
I'm very glad to hear that Turkey always recognize us as one of your partners . I've watched on TV before and the programme said people of Istanbul are unlikely to use subways(tubes) usually because many of them are afraid of earthquakes. So they tend to opt ferries and then use bus or taxi. This makes the traffic jam more serious. Ha. Never thought of that. That's why Istanbul is soooooooo dense. Then that fear will unfortunately, seal a sad fate for any future Istanbul Olympic dream.
