thatsnotmypuppy Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Because Rio is played OUT. This week will be the third time you'll get told no way Jose and next it is the true gem of Brazil's turn to shine! FACT!
wills Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Rio 2016 is going to win. South America Olympics in 2016.
DannyelBrazil Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I need to get back for a while to say one thing: Sao Paulo 2020???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Sao Paulo should try first to not be cutted from World Cup 2014... And the game only ends at the final... Let's wait the final decision of IOC... Back to my GB retirement...
danfla Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Sao Paulo should try first to not be cutted from World Cup 2014...[2]
Faster Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I need to get back for a while to say one thing:Sao Paulo 2020???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Sao Paulo should try first to not be cutted from World Cup 2014... And the game only ends at the final... Let's wait the final decision of IOC... Back to my GB retirement... The venues for 2014 are finalized. G-d your Brazilian and don't even know this.
DannyelBrazil Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 The venues for 2014 are finalized. G-d your Brazilian and don't even know this. Check recent news about Morumbi stadium and the FIFA chief Jerome Valcke... Blatter said yesterday that if Sao Paulo keeps the Morumbi project, Sao Paulo will host less important games... Valcke said Sao Paulo is virtually out of the World Cup... You guys loves Google News search, check this out.
Cauê Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Sao Paulo should try first to not be cutted from World Cup 2014...[3] Dannyel is correct, again.
Cauê Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I support New York for 2020 or 2024! Or San Francisco. The most beautiful city in USA.
thatsnotmypuppy Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 Brasilia failed dismally for 2000 - their project was an across the board embarrassment. We all know Buenos Aires is the rightful host for the first Summer Games in Sth America - but I will settle for Sao Paulo.
oakydoky Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I support New York for 2020 or 2024!Or San Francisco. The most beautiful city in USA. Really, I think both Detroit and Atlantic city are absolutely stunning! Also, Compton in Los Angeles is less famous than Beverley Hills but it is certainly more beautiful!
Tatsh Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Sao Paulo 2020 would be a good option. And if sao paulo doesn't win, so forget any OSG in Brazil.
DNIT Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I'm originally form Sampa and I don't support any Brazilian bid at the moment, I don't think that until 2024 we should think about hosting sport mega events.
stir.ts Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 This reaction just in from the RIO delegation in Copenhagen, when informed Sal Paulo may be preferred.

I agree whole heartedly - in fact I'd say wait until 2028 - a good 18-19 years to eradicate poverty, crime and favelas.
Andrew NYC Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Sao Paulo 2020 ? All i know is that Winter Olympics happens in 2014, 2018 as with temperatures as low as 4C, i can't say " Summer Olympics " Plus, they have to find out where to place a Olympic Stadium, ALL other major venues.... That's out of mind.

Andrew NYC Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Now can we get in that in comprehendible English?? Any time. Just tell me what you want. More reasons ? - Polution - Lack of space for any additional construction - Lake, sea ? - Sparse Games ? You support, i don't and i can't see your point, but with respect, something that you are trying to get the wrong way.
DannyelBrazil Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Sao Paulo 2020 would be a good option. And if sao paulo doesn't win, so forget any OSG in Brazil. Sao Paulo hosting Olympic Games??? LOL Man, just look at Sao Paulo on Google Earth... You guys doesn't know Sao Paulo to state this... LOL Brasilia is by far the realistic Brazilian second option.
DannyelBrazil Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Hey, little boy, Sao Paulo can host Olympic Games?
thatsnotmypuppy Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 Any time. Just tell me what you want. More reasons ?- Polution - Lack of space for any additional construction - Lake, sea ? - Sparse Games ? You support, i don't and i can't see your point, but with respect, something that you are trying to get the wrong way. What the hell does 2014 and 2018 have to do with anything in your first post? What does "but with respect, something that you are trying to get the wrong way." mean? Are you using an online translator? It makes no sense at all.
thatsnotmypuppy Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 Danny - I've been to Rio. I've been to Sao Paulo. I've been up to Salvador, visited Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Brasilia. Frankly I found Porto Alegre the better Brazilian city - it is on a human scale and the people wwere far more friendlier than the Cariocas by a long shot. Sao Paulo would need a bit of a clean up - but so does Rio. And if you refer to me as a little boy again I will personally hunt you down and rip your fuckking head off.
Andrew NYC Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 What the hell does 2014 and 2018 have to do with anything in your first post? What does "but with respect, something that you are trying to get the wrong way." mean? Are you using an online translator? It makes no sense at all. Now that you make yourself clear, i will clarify. Summer Olympics = Summer , in August. What are the average temperatures in Sao Paulo in August ? 12C / 52F with potential to be 4C / 40F I made a point that is such a cold city for a Summer Olympics. This might be a major issue. Best Regards Andrew
thatsnotmypuppy Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 Thank you. Those temperatures while cool wouldn't be too much an issue - Cape Town and Buenos Aires had the same issue but were credible bidders for 2004.
