Felipe Menegaz Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Where you will watch the announcement? Will you watch the presentations?
Soaring Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Absolutely. I will not get a wink of sleep for sure as the presentations begin around 1:45 a.m. Chicago time. I still have not decided whether I will stay home and watch the decision (mainly to be near a computer for blogging, and forums) or if I will head to Daley Plaza and experience it with hundreds of Chicagoans. Right now I am leaning toward the latter, but we shall see.
franxavi Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I´ll try to watch in my work, I´m Neurologist and Friday I have a 24 hours turn. Go Madrid
Rob2012 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Go out and join everyone else Soaring! If you win we'll be waiting for photos of your night! These forums tend to get a bit slow during elections anyway - although I hope they don't this time around. I know you love us all, but we'll be here when you get back, don't worry.
Soaring Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 OK, maybe I will just bring my laptop, and pop into a cafe while I am waiting between rounds!
memorabilia Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Where you will watch the announcement? Will you watch the presentations? Live in Copenhagen
Soaring Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Live in Copenhagen keep on rubbing it in...
cslopes54 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I'll be in bed, since it's gonna start 2 somthing am in Boston. Idk if I should drink some champaign or wine b4, bc I'm afraid I'll fall asleep but if Rio doesn't win or Chicago maybe I won't have any cuz there will be nothing to celebrate. Got a box of 2 under the bed, tho I cant drink yet but I don't give a shh... It's the olympics!
Soaring Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 ^^^ That's nice. I will be sure to support Boston in 2020...
MrCatra Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 @I'll be at my office getting drunk.
Felipe Menegaz Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 I set my clock to wake up at 3:00 on Friday. Anyone knows if that broadcast will be in HD?
cslopes54 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 ^^^That's nice. I will be sure to support Boston in 2020... yeah!
MrCatra Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 yeah! hey lopes... noticed your sig but there are rumors saying manaus might lose the WC.. it seems that its the capital with the biggest problems hehehe... it would be reduced to 10 cities instead of 12 (Cuiabá and Manaus woud be droped) Just a rumor.. *just noticed your sig*
Dinhu4ever Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I'll be in my house, with my eyes glued on the television till the time of the annoucement. Unfortenately, I'll get home by the time the votings and presentations are over, so I'll have to wait for the announcemente alone! Oh, the drama! XD

micheal_warren Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 At home watching through out the night!
Felipe Menegaz Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 Someone will watch in Copacabana?
NY20?? Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I'll probably catch Rio's presentation live at 6:30 AM local time here, and bits throughout the rest of the day if I can.

Doc Steel Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I'm going to try to wake up to see Chicago's presentation before I get back to sleep. I may have to sneak out of class to watch the final decision. I don't think I can get out long enough to see the vote. Does anyone know someone who will be posting updates from Copenhagen on Twitter?
bh7812 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I'm seriously thinking about going down to Daley Plaza too. I keep going back and forth and can't decide. I'll decide for sure on Thursday but right now I'm leaning more toward watching from home on TV. Mostly due to me not really wanting to deal with the train ride. Coming in on the Metra Rock Island Line you stop every couple blocks on the South Side of the City so it's more going downtown than coming back I don't wanna deal with. But, we'll see. This is something I would like to actually be down there for and I know it will be a long time if ever before it happens again
stir.ts Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Will stay up all night into Friday to watching presentations from LA. Then after "announcement" I'll lay in the sun all day, unfortunately not at Copacabana, but by a very nice pool (supposed to be 90 Friday in LA).
Xu Wen-Ting Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 i will watch the live in my home. China Central TV-Sports will live the whole Announcement from Beijing Time 14:30 till 1:30 3rd Oct.
