Soaring Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 Absolutely. I will not get a wink of sleep for sure as the presentations begin around 1:45 a.m. Chicago time. I still have not decided whether I will stay home and watch the decision (mainly to be near a computer for blogging, and forums) or if I will head to Daley Plaza and experience it with hundreds of Chicagoans. Idk if I should drink some champaign or wine b4, bc I'm afraid I'll fall asleep but if Rio doesn't win or Chicago maybe I won't have any cuz there will be nothing to celebrate. I'll decide for sure on Thursday but right now I'm leaning more toward watching from home on TV. Mostly due to me not really wanting to deal with the train ride. Coming in on the Metra Rock Island Line you stop every couple blocks on the South Side of the City so it's more going downtown than coming back I don't wanna deal with. But, we'll see. Then after "announcement" I'll lay in the sun all day, unfortunately not at Copacabana, but by a very nice pool (supposed to be 90 Friday in LA).
