DannyelBrazil
Great news for Rio... Yes, we are not France, we are no Paris, we are not bidding for 2012... =]]]
Sir Rols
I don't think so.Why Rio first? Just first time? Yep. Just like the GamesBids index, "unofficial" continental rotation, and novelty factor, does get factored into it. It's not about ranking the "best" bids (there's no such thing anyway), but about which is most likely to win.
baron-pierreIV
Great news for Rio...Yes, we are not France, we are no Paris, we are not bidding for 2012... =]]] Well, Rio is an equally beautiful city. So...the expectation and probability patterns are playing true to form so far...

DannyelBrazil
These indexes shows us a trend... Rio is seen yet as the frontrunner, the one to be beaten... If Rio knows how to manage this, my CRAZY second ballot victory theory can be possible.
micheal_warren
Rio might be the frontrunner but it doesnt mean it will necessarily win!
baron-pierreIV
Paris does not have favelas... Paris has its dicey and tough neighborhoods, danny -- a lot of them the immigrant/No. African 'hoods.

Rob2012
Paris does not have favelas... I see. That's why Paris lost despite being favourite whilst Rio will win is it? Sorry, I don't get your point.

Frenchy
Great news for Rio...Yes, we are not France, we are no Paris, we are not bidding for 2012... =]]] You seem to forget that openly claiming that a city is "in the lead" is a tried and tested method for weakening it. If you want to kill a bid just shout as loud as you can that it's the "favourite". It worked absolute wonders against Paris en 2005.....
Frenchy
Paris has its dicey and tough neighborhoods, danny -- a lot of them the immigrant/No. African 'hoods. You show me a city that doesn't have a "dicey" neighbourhood. London is the stabbing capital of Europe and home to all the islamic nutters in Europe (hence the nickname "Londonistan"!) yet it still won in 2005. Dishonestly. But it won..... http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/art...E303B40BB6235FC
olympian
In the last 4 elections, the only front runners who won were Beijing (by big numbers) and Vancouver (by 3 votes). The last 2 elections had a come from behind victory by both London and Sochi.
