Thelma de Freitas is a sopa queen? Really? I didn'r know that! XD

Boy, there are so many interesting sights in Rio that get overlooked! I love Santa Teresa and its little yellow tram car! It's so fun to ride over the Lapa Arches to the bohemian chic epicenter of Rio! There is a pub up there that makes the most amazing passion fruit caipirinha I've ever tasted!

The first video is from May 2004. Long time ago... The second video is from TV Manchete, who ceased its operations in May 1999. Let's watch videos of London in 1944? <_<

Catra, don't play the fool!!!

Everybody knows that exists violence problems in Rio, but there is the beautiful side too...

Rio can be the heaven and the hell in just one city...

By the way, are people still burning buses in you beloved Salvador?

And that number tends do decrease even more now that the city hall is finally making some progress with the creation of the creation of permanent peacekeeping police stations on critical zones.

And let's create polemics here:

:(today the number of BELOW THE POVERTY in Brazil for 2008 was released:

8,3% of its entire poblation

http://g1.globo.com/Noticias/Politica/0,,M...E+DIZ+IPEA.html

Poverty (including below the povery) are 31% of Brazilian population, meanwhile medium class reached 55%.

The Ipea, a respected Institute in Brazil, points that BELOW THE POVERTY numbers reduced almost 50% since 2003. The best result in Brazil's recent history.

Brazil's Gini index (unequality) reached 48,3, (USA 40,5/Spain 34,7/Japan 24,9) lowest number in recent history.

Unequality is still a big issue for the next decades.

First time I post something in enourmous letters...

I want to play big too... LOL
