The big question is : Europe will not see the world cup after Germany 2006 for a long time, will europeans decide to choose Morocco, the closest country of EU and the most isolated from middle-east or not ?...

europeans pay the half of FIFA budget and half teams come from this continent.

The BBC is now at Zurich to find out which African country will host the 2010 World Cup. For now, it is showing live pictures from the city. The first pictures were of South African supporters waving their national flag. Now, pictures of Johannesburg.

As the result of South Africa being the 2010 World Cup host, the nation has withdrawn its bid for the 2008 African Cup of Nations. That leaves Ghana and Libya to fight it out for it here:
