baron-pierreIV 1700
no 2001 was in Vancouver - 1999 was in NiceJapan is unlikely since they just hosted in Nagano in 2002 or 2003 - so my guess for 2007 would be China or somewhere in Europe 2000 was in Nice, after the Brisbane fiasco caused by some "people." Nagano hosted 2002, after SLC 2002. Tokyo has the 2007 edition. It will be interesting on which city will get the 2009 edition now. The last one before Vancouver 2010 because the world championships for that year occurs one month AFTER the Winter Olympics. I can't find the full WFS list but if 2001 - Vancouver 2002 - Nagano 2003 - Washington DC 2004 - Dortmund, Germany (last held there in 1980) 2005 - Moscow 2006 - Calgary 2007 - Tokyo 2008 - Sweden 2009 - would probably be in the US since it was 6 years ago, and it cannot be in No. America for 2010. 2010 - probably in Europe because the WOGs are in Vancouver

Like that list in the previous post, the one year before the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics, Cincinnati hosted the 1987 World Championships. It could be a repeat here in a way, before Vancouver 2010. olympian 4
if the US were to get 2009 it will most likely be Boston. After they hosted a very successful US Championships in 2001 it was reported that Boston is going for the bigger pie which is the World Championships. But i'd like to see the championships either in the West Coast or Mid-West since Washington D.C. just hosted it in 2003. By 2009 it would've been 17 years since the US West Coast has hosted the even (Oakland 1992). But if Boston bids and wins it would be great to see the championships at TD Banknorth Garden (formerly Fleet Center).

So for 2009, it might be between a chilly, snowy Boston, the sprawling Staples Center of temperate, sunny L.A., or last year's host of nationals - Tonya's own backyard of Portland, Oregon. olympian 4
could be. St. Louis could be a possibility as well.
