nobase2010
Too much talking. I got this from twitter. The olympic medal is an orca and the paralympic will be a raven.

walei
It's beautiful! Each medal will be unique to form a bigger overall artwork of an orca for the Olympic Games and a raven for Paralympic Games. Love the shape too, keeping in line with the branding of Vancouver 2010 featuring the landscapes. LOVE!
drowninginair
I really like the idea that each medal is somewhat unique. Looking forward to seeing many of them around Canadian Athlete's necks!
Citizen-Seth
They're very interesting..? I like them, but they'll take a little time to get used to. I really love to strap. Is it just me or do they seem really thin compared to other medals?

walei
From the official site of Vancouver 2010 A silk scarf printed with the master artwork will be presented to each Olympian or Paralympian with their medal enabling them to see how their medal connects with those awarded to other athletes at the Games to make the whole design. Neat!

Kenadian
I like the Paralympic ones. But they seem a bit "melted". Not bad, though.
Faster
I like them, they have motion to them with their design. Also this is what I meant but using aboriginal art in a new way so that instead of being oh yea that is aboriginal, instead it is oh yea that looks like Vancouver or looks like BC. nobase2010
It will create interesting reflection when the light hits the different curves and slopes of the medal.
