Alexjc Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 I WOULD LIKE TO SAY BEST WISHES TO ALL THE FIVE CITYS THAT ARE OFF TO SINGAPORE. Although I have my personal favourite, whoever wins will keep the thrill of the Olympics and it's bidding process alive forever. Of the five citys, IMO, the result will be One elated. One bittlerly dissapointed. One saying "we've got them next time anyway". One let down but will be back. One glad they made it this far. (gosh that wouldn't be Moscow would it!) ALL THE BEST!
mnrussia04 Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Yes all the best, but the one that glad they made it this far and would continue over the next seven years is Moscow Haha Good Luck and lets show the world that Moscow can and will host the 2012 Olympics

Its funny you say anglo-saxon board, since when did it this belong to these groups of people. We live in a multicultrual world with acceptance of all cultures, creeds and religions
Rei Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 I'm envying the 5 cities supporters who in this time can enjoy their own city in a strong competition like this.. an unique occasion to demonstrate their love for their home  How lucky you are.. I'd like to be, until the 6 of july, a citizen of New York, or Madrid, or London, or Moscow, or Paris..
Robert Henson Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Good luck to all...or, erm, break a leg!

javieru Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 I agree with Javix and Hlinur. If you wish all the best to the five cities then I don´t understand your behaviour in Madrid Forum, which I think was childish.

Its funny you say anglo-saxon board, since when did it this belong to these groups of people. We live in a multicultrual world with acceptance of all cultures, creeds and religions It visibly belongs to these people since some oblige spanish supporters to speak in english, they were qualified as impolite and unrespectful....,I post a thread in French in the general section and I received some insults. So I don't think the world of acceptance and creeds and religions that you describe correspond to the vision of some here...

Guardian Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 With the 200th. anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar (UK) and the awarding of the ITER to France, it is going to be interesting to see how the media will have to say about the Olympic host city decision in one week from now. Speaking of ITER, here's a BBC article about it: France Gets Nuclear Fusion Plant
baron-pierreIV Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Good luck to...in alpha order...London, Madrid and Moscow. THey will especially need it.
BSTOUT1221 Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 No matter where they are in 2012, I am sure it will be a magical place to be! And if Paris or London wins, it gives me 4 more years to save up for opening ceremony tickets for NYC in 2016 - hopefully!
