Tickets (buy, Sell, And Trade)

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am trying to set my itinerary and want to have my event schedule lined up. I figured that others on this site might be trying to do the same thing, so I want to post what I am looking to buy, sell, and trade. Maybe someone could help me out or I can help out someone else.

I have one of each of the following tickets that I am looking to trade or sell:

2/17 CU004 Curling Women's Prelims 9:00AM - 12:00 AM Category A

2/17 SS005 Speed Skating Men's 1000m 1:00PM - 2:30PM Category B

2/17 LG005 Luge Men's Doubles 5:00PM - 7:30 Category B

2/18 IH020 Ice Hockey Women's US v. Finland 7:00PM - 9:30PM Category A

2/19 CU010 Curling Women's Prelims 9:00AM - 12:00AM Category A

2/21 IH030 Ice Hockey Men's US v. Canada 12:00AM - 2:30PM Category A

2/21 AS007 Alpine Skiing Men's Giant Slalom 10:00AM - 2:45PM Category B

Additionally, I am looking for one ticket to each of the following events:

2/17 SB003 Snowboarding Men's Halfpipe

2/17 AS004 Alpine Skiing Women's Downhill

2/18 FS004 Figure Skating Men's Free Program

2/19 AS005 Alpine Skiing Men's Super G

2/20 ST003 Short Track Speed Skating Men's 1000m and Women’s 1,500m

Additionally, I was wondering if anyone knew of other good places to buy, sell, and trade tickets. Thanks in advance!

People need to be allowed to manage their own tickets financially, despite technical legalities. VANOC should do its best to not deter anything that could stop ESS from occurring (Empty Seat Syndrome), especially under the scrutiny of being viewed as catering to the few multiple purchasers under the guise of making tickets accessible across a broad section of people. I do understand there are ways to go about it otherwise, but for the potential infractions discovered I hope re-sellers are let off with the graces of preventing empty seats and wasting experiences. For people in Vancouver to see empty seats will surely have them seeing red and asking questions.

We only know since 10 days the name of the three last qualifiers (Norway, Latvia and Germany) and the composition of group A, B and C

How come you were able to saw the schedule awhile back ago on their website.

(by the way, I didn't find it on the IIHF website)

It's very hard to believe that a USA-Canada game will be play in early afternoon (wich will be in the morning in the east part of both countries) and not PRIME TIME for TV. (remember Beijing with the swimming finals in the morning)

  • 1 month later...

I received a email today from Vanoc with the hockey schedule

It's different than what's on the link provided by thespian333 few weeks ago

Day by day, opponents are the same but they adjust the time.

So, every Canada game during the preliminary round will be play at 16h30 instead of 12h00

(I prefer that, because I will be able to attend the three games)
