My Prediction

I predict that the 2016 Summer Olympics will be held in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. The Summer Olympics in Minneapolis-St. Paul would be GREAT. Minneapolis-St. Paul has a lot of venues available including new Minnesota Twins and Vikings stadiums, the Metrodome, Xcel Energy Center, Target Center, and all of the University of Minnesota campuses. If Golf does become an Olympic Sport, Golf can be held at Hazeltine National Golf Course in Chaska, MN. Although Minneapolis-St. Paul is not internationally know outside the United States, I think that the Olympics in Minnesota would help make the state more internationally known.

PS – This is the Best website about Olympic News EVER. This is the first time I have ever been to this website (I discovered it on Wikipedia) and I like the forum this website has because you can express your ideas about what you think about what happens in the Olympics.

Mr. Minneapolis,

First, welcome to the board.

Second, although you believe that Minneapolis-St. Paul will be a great place for the 2016 Summer Olympics and the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, You are going to have to work very hard to convince others that the State of Minnesota can host a Summer Olympic Games. Many members of this forum do not believe that Minneapolis-St. Paul has a chance of hosting the Summer Olympics in 2016 or anytime this century. If MSP was to get nominated by the USOC, it will have to compete against so many international cities like Rio de Janeiro, Istanbul, Cape Town, Rome, Madrid, and Tokyo which are more international known for business and their history that Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Finally, Welcome to GamesBids.com. I look forward to see if you can convince me and the others on this forum that Minneapolis-St. Paul can be a possible site of the 2016 Summer Olympics and the Games of the XXXI Olympiad. I am for sure you can do much better that a person on this forum named Joseph because he support Minneapolis-St. Paul but he has never been to MN. He is like a clown who doesn’t know what he is talking about and I wish he would stop making post about Minneapolis-St. Paul. I look forward to see what you have to say about MSP since you come from Minneapolis and know more about the area.

Ryan04,

What does the picture that you have of Torino, Italy represents? It is a very nice picture and I was wondering if you might be able to tell me what this picture is showing of Torino.

Don't bother _ you won't convince anyone.

Minneapolis COULD pull it off but currently it WOULD NOT and even if it would it would have to be IF the bigger cities DO NOT WANT it. Minneapolis doesn't want it as much as other cities (if it wants it at all.)

I sometimes have wonder if Mr. Minneapolis and Joseph are the same person and that Joseph is making up information about Mr. Minneapolis? After all, Mr. Minneapolis said and Joseph has also mention included;

1. Both mention about Golf in the Olympics and at Hazeltine National Golf Course in Chaska, MN.

2. Both mentions the same venues including the Metrodome, the new Minnesota Twins and Vikings stadium, the Target Center, Xcel Energy Center, and the campuses of the University of Minnesota

3. Both believe that the USOC will nominate Minneapolis-St. Paul for the 2016 Summer Olympics and the Games of the XXXI Olympiad.

Call me crazy if you like, but I am 100% confident that both Mr. Minneapolis and Joseph is the same person. Let me know if you disagree.

No, it's not OUR kerry. K-b-m was FAR more witty, hated the US and lived in the Caribbean (this guy's registered in the US). It's just another of joseph's multiple personalities. The trouble is, he's not very good at it, is only a one-topic poster, and isn't even entertaining.

I do not know who this other Kerry fellow is. My friend who also uses this forum (Hank) told me about this forum and website and he will be shock when he finds out that I support Minneapolis-St. Paul when he is a supporter of Chicago. He thinks that I am support Philadelphia when I am actually supporting Minneapolis-St. Paul.

That sounds EXACTLY the same as every other time you try to explain your many alternate accounts.

YOU BIG STUPID HEAD.

He can try as much as he wants. He's not going to convince anyone that Minneapolis is going to win 2016. Stop living in a dream world. As some of you have mentioned, his posts are not even entertaining, just ignore him and his various alias's.

Read it:  "United States Olympic Committee (USOC) chairman Peter Ueberroth said no American city will bid for the 2016 Olympic Games."

Read it:  "United States Olympic Committee (USOC) chairman Peter Ueberroth said no American city will bid for the 2016 Olympic Games."

Actually, what he said is:

“I’m not saying we won’t bid. I’m saying we want to be very careful, understand it all before we start spending money and getting enthusiastic and competing against each other. We have to be smart”.

Several U.S. cities have expressed an interest in bidding for the 2016 Summer Games. The International Olympic Committee will make its decision in 2009.

“We want to bid”, said Ueberroth.
