Cosport Live Sales This Thursday

Recommended Posts

Just got an email - sales start sometime after 10am on Feb 5. Oh good times.

I am hoping that there are some Ice Hockey tickets and that the website doesnt crash like it did the first day of Beijing ticket sales.

Wow. Just wow.

Site went live at 10:45. After 45 min, I was able to add tickets to the cart. Decided not to get greedy and go ahead any check out. Everything is going fine, enter CC info (and double check)....bam...failure to connect to host. All tickets lost.

Repeat that 2 more times, with less events available each time.

My last attempt, I added a single women's hockey ticket....same result.

I have a very slim hope my orders went through, but it is doubtful without email confirmation. No luck getting through to CoSport.

The EXACT same thing happened to me! Is there anything we can do? I had gotten a lot of really good tickets! :(

I got one hockey ticket (needed an extra for my dad, staying longer than he thought) and then foolishly tried to check the availability of other events. Each page took a long time to load, but eventually did. Then all of a sudden, nothing would load for an hour. This included, of course, my shopping cart. Much later, they had a category A ticket left for the same game, but in the time it took me to decide whether to click it, it was gone.

Very disappointing...why can't these sites be built to handle the load? And if anyone has an extra ticket to IH011, I would be interested. =)

I finally got through and got a couple of Men's Ice Hokey prelim seats. Only A reserve were available. Furthermore there were absolutely no Victory Ceremony tickets available at all - so I dont know if us international visitors will get any access at all to them. They are charging $40AU if/when they are available each night.

So unless I get victory ceremony tickets my entire Vancouver ticket package is thus -

Feb 13

SS001 Speed Skating - B reserve 12:00-14:45

Ladies' 3,000 m Relay Qualification

Men's 1,500 m Qualification and Final

Feb 14

LG002 Luge - B reserve 15:00-19:00

Men's Singles – Runs 3 and 4 (Final)

Feb 15

SB001 Snowboard - B reserve 10:30-14:45

Men's SBX Qualification

I spoke to someone at CoSport yesterday and they were able to give me an order number for my orders which did not appear to go through.

It sounds much more promising. They said I may get confirmation sometime on 2/6. They also gave me the opportunity to cancel duplicated orders.

They guy on the phone said a hacker was responsible for their problems.

I never got into the website. I was trying for the full hour that the sale lasted. I was literally in tears when I found out that they were all gone. You guys are lucky you even saw the sales counter!!!! I cannot believe I couldn't get in the site, let alone not getting the chance to purchase tickets. Cosport should have anticipated this!!!! Now, I am stuck with just 3 events from the allocation

Much to my suprise, I got a call from Cosport today telling me that my ticket order from last Thursday went through. I was having many of the same time out problems that everyone else seemed to be having. Since I started dealing with Cosport, before Beijing, this is the first thing that they have ever done right. I fully expected them to just ignore my order. So there is still hope left.

I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone else!

Can any one tell me the best way to go about trading tickets? Is there a website where people go to do this or is just a buy/sell ebay type thing?

Best wishes all.

And the hacker now has our credit card details?
