After "quantum Of Solace"...

What do you think when in the next James Bond movie the London Olympics will become a major part?

For it to be convincing it would have to be made during the Olympics(or just before), but its unlikely the whole film would be set in the Olympics.

it would have been good if the world is not enough had had the London eye,

I suppose the IOC isn't interested in that the Olympic Games are connected with James Bond, but the authors could use a large Sport competition (with allusions to the OG) as background...

"Bond 23" Delayed Indefinitely

The 23rd film in the James Bond series has been delayed indefinitely due to the pending sale of debt-ridden MGM studios.

"Bond 23" was tentatively scheduled for a late 2011 or early 2012 release, but development on the film has now been halted. "We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of 'Bond 23,'" Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions said in a statement. EON has produced Bond films since 1962's Dr. No.

Sam Mendes in talks to direct next James Bond film

Mired in $3.7 billion of debt, MGM is currently taking bids from prospective buyers.

Calls to MGM were not immediately returned.

Filming on "Bond 23," which will see Daniel Craig return for his third go-around as 007, was previously set to start as early as June. Sam Mendes was in negotiations to direct the picture as of January.

I loved Casino Royal, The quantum of solace had to much shaky camera work and jumpy cutting in it. Its probably just as well the next one has been delayed as I think they need to carefully consider the stylistic direction Bond is going in.

Craig, Bardem star in new Bond thriller 'Skyfall'

LONDON (AP) — Ah, Mr. Bond, we've been waiting for you — and at last 007 is back, several years after his last screen adventure.

Producers announced Thursday that filming has begun on "Skyfall," the delayed 23rd film in the series and Daniel Craig's third outing as the suave British superspy.

Craig, who has brought a hard edge to his portrayal, told reporters that the movie, directed by Sam Mendes and shot in London, Scotland, Turkey and China, would be "Bond with a capital B."

Craig said he was "tremendously excited" to be stepping back into the role for the first time since 2008's "Quantum of Solace."

Work on the film was postponed, and Bond's future looked uncertain, when studio MGM filed for bankruptcy in 2010. But MGM's new management and EON Productions announced earlier this year that the spy would live to fight another day.

...

Of the plot, they revealed only that "Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her" and MI6 comes under attack.

As for the meaning of the title, Broccoli said it "has some emotional resonance which will be revealed in the film."

Broccoli said the producers hoped Mendes would sign up for a second film, and "definitely" wanted Craig to return as Bond.

"Skyfall" is due to be released on Oct 26, 2012 in Britain and Nov. 9 in the United States, 50 years since the release of the first 007 film, "Dr. No."

Sam mendes is an interesting choice of director. It sounds like we can expect something much better than the quantum of solace. I think the recent trend for ever faster and faster cutting and shaky camera work has hit the buffers and become unwatchable. The Kings speech and Tinker Tailor soldier spy have shown films can be successful without this, I would except the new bond to have more action than Tinker tailor solder spy though ,

I think an action sequence on the Orbit would make a good opening sequence.
