sorry but it is HIGHLY unlikely that Toronto would get 2016 regardless of NYC's success next week.....

Yes- that's what I said in my last post, as you could see:

If London/ Paris/ Madrid/ Moscow wins 2012, then Toronto will at least be in a position to bid for 2016, even though NYC would be the front runner and most likely to be awarded 2016

I was talking about what the chances were with regards to Toronto bidding for 2016- nothing else, certainly not whether they would win 2016

If New York wins 2012, there will definetly be no Toronto bid for 2016.

If NYC loses 2012, then there may well be a Toronto 2016 bid. But this does not mean they would win. NYC would be the front runner for 2016.
