Who Were The 14 U.s. Cities For 1996?

14 U.S. Cities had bid to be the USOC candidate for 1996.

#1 was Atlanta, #2 was Minneapolis-St. Paul. Who were the other 12?

Here's an interesting fact for you, OG. Per the IOC page, didja know that seven candidate sites (Lakes Placid, Tahoe; Bear Mountain; Yosemite Valley; Duluth; Minneapolis; and Denver) were considered by the USOC, pre-IOC as their possible Winter Candidate city for 1932?

Montreal was the only other (foreign) bidder.

Atlanta, San Francisco, Nashville & Minneapolis were the 4 *serious* contenders that the USOC had to choose from for their 1996 candidate.
