Ikarus360 Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 ^^ To be fair there weren't that much actors in the Baku opening. Most of them were part of the skirt part and the lackluster Clepsydra one. The closing ceremony had much more, in contrast. Quote

After seeing te video, I have to accept it got me intrigued.... Certainly, we are going to see something different of what we have seen so far in Opening shows... Quote

MisterSG1 Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 That's ESPN, very ironic that we don't get coverage like that for an event that is HOSTED in Canada.....that is pretty impressive coverage nevertheless. Quote

You know what.. I looked at location and for some reason though that was a US city and 2-letter state abbreviation. Forgot you're north of the border. Does CBC not have streaming coverage? I thought they did. Quote

Forgot you're north of the border. Does CBC not have streaming coverage? I thought they did. Yeah, it looks like they do, but they don't currently. I have tickets to the Roller Figure Skating event (mainly for curiosity), so I guess they will only livestream the generally popular events. Based on this plan for Pan Am Coverage, my guess is that they will offer the same events that ESPN3 is offering online. http://www.cbc.ca/mediacentre/CBC%20-%20Pan%20ParaPan%20Am%20Broadcast%20Appendix%20-%20FINAL.pdf But it seems unusual that Canada is playing a water polo match as we speak in Canada as well, and there is no place on television or on the internet to watch any of it live. Last I checked, it was a tie game, unlike the extreme blowout the US team just handed to the Mexicans. Quote
intoronto Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 Nothing will be streamed live before the oc. Quote

BTHarner Posted July 8, 2015 Report Posted July 8, 2015 I can't believe that the plans I started to make a year ago on a whim (Let's book a hotel in case we actually go to the Pan Am Games) are so close to being realized. Should arrive at our hotel around 1pm Friday. Then within a few short hours we are off to the OC. Quote
