intoronto
The athletics stadium design at York University was released. It will seat 12,500 for the games and 3,000 after the games. TBH does not look like a good stadium to me but at least 12,500 is a number that can be sold out as opposed to half empty stadiums.

dave199
Here are some pics of construction of the Athlete's village. I'm excited to see this area after all is done. It will be a big transformation of the West Don Lands that remained pretty much empty and abandoned for the longest time.

I can't believe so much time has passed since TO won its bid and less than 3 years till the games. In a few months we will also find out more about Toronto's 2024 bid. intoronto
The funding is for $2.6-million split amongst 36 sports or 72,222 per federation. How ridiculous is that.
Texas
So the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto FC are going to be nomads for the two weeks of the 2015 Pan American Games?
intoronto
So the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto FC are going to be nomads for the two weeks of the 2015 Pan American Games? For Fc that shouldn't be a problem because that could be a maximum of 3-4 games. The Blue Jays its tricky as its the main stadium and for that u need a six week block. Idk how Rogers will react to that but it seems as if they have agreed to it.

Same as the NHL did for the Canucks in Vancouver.Sucks for the Jays but it's not the end of the world.
intoronto
The good thing is the first full week of the games will be no games for the Jays as its the all star game.
