Belgium
you took the words out of my mouthwhats the madison all about , I enjoy all the other races with the madeson I dont know whats going on. It's a very popular event here in Belgium during the '6-Day' events in Europe in the winter. Maybe because it's so confusing , like Belgium Congratulations to Argentina, but the Belgian were so close to a medal, even the golden medal. Another one of the few medal chance missed for the Belgian team and with our football team 1/0 down against Nigeria, it seems probable that we won't win any medal, for the first time since 1932

theone
Congratulations to Argentina - one of only a few medals won by them ever!!The British men didn't finish very well - apparently Bradley Wiggins is suffering from his two world records earlier in the week. Not medalling in the Madison means that Mark Cavendish is the only member of the British cycling team not to win a medal. Still a pretty amazing time in the velodrome though. Poor guy! arwebb
Awesome, truly awesome. Pity about the madison, but Wiggins has had a phenomenal Games and Cavendish has had a fantastic year with his exploits in the Tour de France. You can't win them all. arwebb
Can't say I'm overly surprised by this and it's nice to hear somebody putting country before money in British sport for a change. Cycling boss targeted by rivals Give this man whatever he wants to keep him where he is. We know the job he's doing. Let's keep him doing it for us.
