Faster
Men's Lightweight Fours 1. Great Britain 2. Canada 3. Denmark (Silver) 4. Poland 5. France (Bronze) 6. Netherlands Men's Quadruple Sculls 1. France 2. United States of America 3. Poland 4. Italy 5. Australia 6. Germany (Bronze) Boats in Final 10 - Great Britain 7 - USA, Australia, Germany 6 - China 5 - Canada, New Zealand GB has done fantastic, though some medals will be hard to come by. Canada has a good chance going 5 for 5 in medals, having won 4 of the 5 races that got them into the final and their stroke rate went way down in the last 500meters. Anyways my predictions for the Canadian finals Men's Lightweight Fours Gold - Great Britain Silver - Canada Bronze - France Women's Lightweight Double Sculls Gold - Canada Silver - Germany Bronze - China Men's Pairs Gold - Australia Silver - Canada Bronze - New Zealand Men's 8's Gold - Great Britain Silver - Canada Bronze - United States of America Women's 8's Gold - United States of America Silver - Romania Bronze - Canada We need all five medals. It would be amazing if my predictions would be right (and I know stu, arwebb, lee and beth would enjoy my predictions) Edited August 15, 2008 by Faster

Faster
good luck canada! I hope new zealand get 5 medals in our five finals but I will be happy with four Yea, Canada and New Zealand are in the same boat, no medals and rowing is our first great chance. I hope my predictions are right and in truth Canada has a legitimate shot at Gold in all but the women's 8s. The prefect result would be 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze, but even if they are all bronze it still would be great.

Yea, we've been spending about 50million a year since 2002/2003 and have just surpassed the US as having the 2nd most world cup/world championship medals in a season.
