I'm gonna go way out there and say China will do pretty good in badminton.

Men's singles:

1. No world #1 ranked player has ever won the singles gold. Current world #1 is Lin Dan from China.

2. World #2 is Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia.

Women's doubles:

1. Malaysia's Wong Mew Choo (world #8) has beaten all three Chinese singles players in QF, SF, and Final before becoming the reigning China Open champion. Mew Choo has a relatively easy draw up to QF for this Olympics.

2. Tine Rasmussen of Denmark (world #4) is another player who has beaten all three Chinese players.

Men's Doubles:

1. No clear favorite.

2. Malaysia, China, Korea, Indonesia have equal chance.

Women's Doubles:

1. This is a sure Chinese Gold. All Chinese final is highly possible.

Mixed doubles:

1. It's Indonesia and China to fight for gold.

2. The only other event European players may spring a surprise to win gold.
