Rafa
The scroll will close and the flame will simultanously die. the scroll will close slowly though, a few metres after every segment. the final segment will see kids in hoodies from east london spraying graffiti onto the scroll and creating the 2012 logo. Mr Tickle
Bassist Guy Pratt revealed that the highly-anticipated collaboration will play Led Zeppelin's piece 'Whole Lotta Love'. It has been reported sometime ago that Leona Lewis will appear at the closing ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games on August 24, performing a duet with Led Zeppelin's guitarist, Jimmy Page. It is now revealed that the spectacular collaboration will present a version of Zeppelin's 1969 song "Whole Lotta Love". The play set was supposed to be a top secret but it was unveiled by one of the musicians who will support them in the performance. Bassist Guy Pratt who has worked with numerous rock stars, spilled on his blog, "You may also be interested to know that when Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis perform Whole Lotta Love at the end of the Olympics, that's me playing bass on it." Still, there is no confirmation from the show's organizer regarding the song. "Whole Lotta Love" appeared in the legendary rock band's second album "Led Zeppelin II" and was ranked no. 75 by Rolling Stone in its 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that David Beckham too will appear at the closing ceremony, arriving on top of a red double-decker bus and kick soccer balls to children representing all the countries competing in the games. He, Leona and Jimmy all represent London as the next host of the games in 2012.

huaiwei
The women's singles quarter-finals are underway and both of Singapore's players are playing at the same time. The scoreline now is crazy... Zhang Yining from China just took the first game 13-11 against Feng Tianwei from Singapore. Li Jiawei from Singapore took the first game 15-13 against Wang Chen from the United States. At one point, both tables are seeing level scores at 11-11 and 13-13! huaiwei
Now its 6-6 at one table and 10-10 on the other. Geez. Btw Li seems to be showing signs of impatience again after taking two matches. She allowed Wang to take too many points at the start of the game, catching up only later. Olympian2004
The only other thing we know so far about the closing, is that they will use the pit once again, as they have already loaded it up with the props for the closing ceremony. Where do you get all those information from? Do you have any links or pictures? If they are going to use the pit again, then they have to remove the turf on the infield overnight for the closing ceremony day. They still need the turf for the men's javelin throw on Saturday. Or maybe they want their ceremonial props a little bit pierced.
