Oh Stuie - I know your going to hate me for saying this but -

Watching that video makes me wonder how soon London will tear down their latest Olympic Stadium. Since they have torn down the other two. :(

Oh Toddles - I could never hate you .........

White City Stadium (1908-1985) was used for 77 years.

The old Wembley Stadium (1923-2003) was used for 80 years.

Compare these to Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Stadium (1996-1997) ...... less than one year.

;)

Tearing down is different from altering/refitting. Atlanta's COS would see no use today if it stayed in its T&F configuration.

Oh Stuie. It makes me feel better knowing you could never hate me.

I'll be thinking of you when I go to the next USC game at The Coliseum the next time I watch the Trojans play.

Despite the fact I HATE the Torjans.
