Olympian2004
And here it is, the outfit of the German team at the Beijing Olympics: The ladies' outfit for the opening ceremony: (Looks a little bit like Dutch "oranje", doesn't it?) The men's outfit for the opening ceremony: The competition and training outfit: Obviously, the male athletes will wear the same outfit: And here's a slide show with additional pictures, including the outfits for recreational activities: German team outfit on WDR.de

baron-pierreIV
(Looks a little bit like Dutch "oranje", doesn't it?) It does, but I'd call that color more 'salmon' than the Dutch orange.
Citius Altius Fortius
... here are some further pics: I think the grey/white "ceremony" combination for the men is a little bit boring
Olympian2004
I think the grey/white "ceremony" combination for the men is a little bit boring But at least it's elegant and has a modern cut. And what about the ladies' ceremonial outfit? I think that it looks quite fresh and summerly -- so it's very fitting for the occasion. And it's very nice that the ladies finally show some leg. But the jackets are quite similar to those worn by our chancellor, aren't they?

Olympian2004
Easyjet stewardesses model their new uniform. If you think so. I think that this one looks much more like a stewardess uniform:

The Devil Satan
Yeah but orange is better than the grey. I mean those crazy outfits from those outer oceanic islands or those crazy african countries are always the best, not like a bunch of grey suits parading around the stadium! savas
i like the womans outfit.. more then the "we are going to safari" Athens ones... The grey of men is rather boring.. They could have used a cravat or a handkerchief in the same orange..

Olympian2004
isnt the Germn out fit the same as there Athens one with a new logo? Which part of the German outfit are you talking about? The ceremonial outfit, the outfit for recreational activities or the competition outfit? Speaking about the ceremonial outfit, it looks very different from the Athens one. Here's the Athens outfit: German team at Athens 2004 opening ceremony It already had a strong salmon/orange touch, but the women's skirts weren't white already and the men's outfit looked completely different (striped shirt, salmon/orange tie, hat, light brown suit). But I didn't remember that some of the ladies wore skirts already back then. I only remembered the pants.
Durban Sandshark
And here it is, the outfit of the German team at the Beijing Olympics:The competition and training outfit: The young woman on the far left is soccer star Annike Krahne, one of the players from the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup German champs and will certainly be on the Beijing roster. I agree that the German men's grey formalwear is boring and unlively.
