Alpine Hub: Vail/Avon (resort towns 15km away from each other, roughly 15 minutes)

All venues are within Denver are within 30 minutes of each other allowing for quick intersession transport.

Over 80% of venues are existing, one ice venue, a temporary ski jump and an oval are the only new venues.

Denver and surrounding area has invested billions of dollars in new infrastructure including a new airport, and major transportation upgrades that will be complete between 2013 and 2016. Public transport will be quickly and easily available from all venues.

Extensive cultural program, including summer festivals, medal ceremonies, and arts performances including opera, ballet, modern and classic music, and visual art exhibitions with an Olympic focus. You can watch a speed skater dash around the ice in the afternoon and see one of the finest performances of La Boheme in the evening.

With a budget of just 4 billion dollars, almost a 1/4 of which is security, this is a responsible bid that will have at least 30 and as much of 50% privately funded by Colorado and American businesses.

Only 1 of the venues will have a cost to the games for construction the rest will be rented or time donated to the Olympics.

The athlete's village will be privately constructed will be made to be high level condominium's that will be sold-off after the games. The condo's will be constructed to the highest standards while being environmentally friendly, offering the athlete's the greatest comfort imaginable.
