thatsnotmypuppy
I just found this image - what are your thoughts? It seems every sport will get a dedicated design... Nice, but a bit... garish perhaps?
SJD88
It looks like currency. But its nice. I don't know about the Pinks though.

Torchbearer AA
Why don't they use the official sport pictograms but this kind of strange singns? Where does this come from?

baron-pierreIV
I think they're quite exquisite -- and probably came to BOCOG's attention after the sports pictograms were already picked. So they decided to use them for the tickets instead.
Torchbearer AA
But they even not use the core patterns. For every games they use the identity of that Games, here we can only see a small picture of the Emblem at the front. And there is even not a text with Beijing 2008 or the Games of the XXIX Olympiad on it. The olympic identity is always very important. Further, all is secret until the moment BOCOG publish it in China. Why not with this? End of Juny we know how they are because first week of July they will be distributed. They want to be it like a secret until that moment because the chance of copying them. This could be something to misled them.
thatsnotmypuppy
Possibly - but I dont think so. The logo is fairly obvious, the Pinyin states the event and venue which is reproduced below in English. The picture is quite evidently the sport the ticket is for and all seating details are where they should be. If this is a fake image, someone has gone way and beyond in throwing us off the scent. Furthermore these are the 'commemorative' souvenir tickets that the Olympics always have. If you buy a ticket for an event on the day of the event, the ticket will be pretty plain. Also the hologram could very well be the Olympic rings one way, the pictogram the other way. Anyhow - Torino did something similar and no one lost their sh*t about that. NY20??
I like the dedicated design for each sport, but the colors seem a bit bland and, as said, very unlike other Beijing graphics.
james
It looks like currency. But its nice. I don't know about the Pinks though. They look more like stamps to me than currencies.
