Sir Rols
Well, it's (finally) been officially announced that Tsangaviri's opposition has won the Zimbabwe parliamentary elections. With luck, Zimbabwe's days of oppression and diplomatic and economic isolation may be coming to an end!
baron-pierreIV
What do you think - will ZIM and KEN participate or will they stay home, becuase of the situation in the countries? ZIM? Is that KEN's new girl that Barbie doesn't know about? BARbie will surely go then!!
Maryjane
Yes, they would. At least for the sake of heavy Chinese investment there.
Olympian2004
CAF, why do you write "ZIM"/"KEN" instead of "Zimbabwe" and "Kenya"? If there hadn't been the replies of Faster and Roltel, I'd still think that you're talking about two Korean athletes I never heard of. But I expect them to take part in Beijing, too. If the Bosnians could send a team to Lillehammer in 1994 or the Iraqis and Palestinians a team to Athens in 2004, the Zimbabweans and Kenyans can as well. baron-pierreIV
The Kenyans and fellow East Africans will have the longer footraces almost locked up. So I don't see how they can stay away.
