  1. KONYA 2021 5th Islamic Solidarity Games 9 July 2022 >> 18 July 2022 ‌The 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games will be 5th edition of the event scheduled to be held from 9 to 18 August 2022 at Konya, Turkey under the aegis of Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF). It will be the first time in history that the event will be organised by the Turkish Olympic Committee. Formerly scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021, the event was postponed to be held from 10 to 19 September 2021 in July 2020 by the ISSF because the original dates were coinciding with the 2020 Summer Olympics, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2021, the ISSF postponed the event to August 2022 citing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the participating countries. source-1: 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games - Wikipedia The event was moved from 2021 to 2022 to avoid a clash with the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Konya 2021 has kept that branding. It is anticipated that 4,200 athletes from 56 countries will compete. source-2: Islamic Solidarity Games set to open in Konya (insidethegames.biz)
  2. UEFA EURO TÜRKİYE 20?? which year will be the lucky year best forum-friends, im proud to present you this thread with an enthousiasm after that; yesterday, 13.03.2022 the greek prime minister mitsotakis came to istanbul on invitation of erdoğan.. the photo beneath is taken from the official guesthouse "the-vahdettin-villa" with the bosphorus on the background.. this remembered me the first ever bid from türkiye in 2008 to co-host with greece back then.. the turkish national team came third in 2008 (with the co-hosting of AUT-SWI).. the best placement ever at an euro tournament. As the other thread of "2028 Euros" is actually a preliminary thread, when the date of 23.03.2022 comes closer to an end about the allocation of the 2028 euro (& and maybe a double allocation of the 2032 euro) hosting.. in this thread we can continue to discuss the further course of the eventually turkish FA bids & candidature/s for after 2028 with the aim to organize the european football championships on turkish soil.. >> source-1: UEFA Euro 2028 - Wikipedia >> source-2: UEFA Euro 2032 - Wikipedia Meanwhile i made a time-span & grid of the 3 official logos produced at that time out of the 5 consecutive bids. Türkiye has build up a euro-hosting-bid-history with each time elevating the quality of the bids simultaniously with the needed infrastructure of transport/stadiums etc.. in 2030 there will be built about between 12.000 and 13.000 km of high speed rails to increase the infrastructure in host everything in the near future and of course this infrastructure/stadium-legacy will be enourmous for generations to come..
  3. ADF | Antalya Diplomatic Forum The logo of the ADF is inspired by the antique amphitheather of TERMESSOS Termessos - Wikipedia Recoding Diplomacy Heads of State and Government, Ministers, policy makers, diplomats, business leaders, academics, think-tankers and representatives of the youth and media will meet again at the second Antalya Diplomacy Forum to be held under the auspices of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, on 11-13 March 2022. The participants will address a wide range of topics in international relations under the overarching theme of “Recoding Diplomacy”. Diplomacy is indeed transforming. Its language and methods are changing. Competition, discord and even conflict are constants in international affairs and affect humanity with changing dynamic. New fluctuations in global affairs coupled by the Covid-19 pandemic have exacerbated the need for transformation. Shifts in the relationship between state and the individual as well as technological innovation require attention. Humanity needs robust diplomacy to resolve tensions, manage change, facilitate adaptation and promote cooperation. For this, diplomacy must stay innovative, efficient, and effective. In turn, it requires composite efforts towards re-evaluation, reaffirmation and restoration, in other words, a recoding. The recoding of diplomacy also encompasses finding effective ways to communicate national interests with renewed language, insight and impact, while making extensive use of rapidly changing and innovative digital capabilities. Reaching out to a younger generation is among the top priorities. The multiple ways governments have addressed this evolving phenomenon of inevitable change has been shaped by their exposure and experience in dealing with local, regional and global challenges. Keeping diplomacy fit for purpose requires it to be attentive and adaptive to the demands of the day. The Antalya Diplomacy Forum will continue to serve as a platform for an interactive and multi-stakeholder discussion on key aspects of recoding diplomacy at these times of change. website: ADF – Antalya Diplomasi Forumu (antalyadf.org)
