  1. basically anything worth watching happens at 3 in the morning, which is ridiculous. I'm exhausted from waking up to watch ski jumping at 5, not sure it's very sustainable over 16 days. i actually had to watch the ceremonies on NBC last night if you can freaking believe it. now i have tape-delay luge on but it's not live obviously so I'm starting to question whether the athletes can actually hear me shouting at the screen and react in real time to my coaching advice. i am however enjoying as the commentators dance around the OAR question while avoiding mentioning doping or the IRL country of russia. watching canada miss a couple bronze medals already has also been entertaining but at this point i'm feeling bad and want them to start winning. honestly i'm on team anyone who can beat OAR. at first I thought it was only going to be a couple of athletes in exceptional circumstances but those numbers seemed to have crept up. sus. i forget the point of this thread. oh right, the time zone. well, there are a few things on before i go to bed.
  2. let's do a sweepstakes but with a sexy krow twist. put your name here and i will give you a random country. something about little strips of paper and a big hat and iphone pics. unless i get lazy and then i'll just tell you i did that. i will also come up with a clever nickname you can change your display name to. oh wait. remember how i said there would be a sexy krow twist? no? well start from the beginning of this post. see it? ah-ha. the twist is that you lose points for every medal your country gets! so you're actually rooting against your team. -3 pts for a gold. 2pts for a silver and 0 pts for a bronze because lol it's not really even a medal, come on now. wait. did you think that was the only twist? well, it's not. well, it was going to be but then i re-read what i had written so far and it sounded boring, so you'll get a second country to root FOR. +3 pts for a gold and 2pts for a silver. this is nuts. totally wild. is it even legal? well, i don't know. we'll have someone check on that but for now please put your name down. we're going to be picking countries from about the 10-20 range from the gracenote predictions. and then probably a whole bunch of other ones too. ah! got you! did you think those were the only two twists? oh my god have you even met me before? well, probably not unless your ejaycat, rols, or nykfan but of course there's a third twist. everyone will also get a wildcard third country from the bottom of the gracenote list: 10 pts for a gold 7 pts for a silver and what the hell 1 pt for a bronze. why not. it's been a hard week. we've earned it.
  3. you knew it was coming. it was a magical 17 days in the undisputed capital of the world should something drastic happen to NYC and paris, and hong kong is having an off year. but CLEARLY it had the worst (WORST) logo of any olympic bid or games ever designed. you laughed when the "lisa giving bart head" joke was made for the first time because it was so true. here is the scene: the year is 2014 (omg can you even?) brazil is so far behind the IOC strips rio of the games and gives them back to london. because london is shiftless and lazy, they just want to resue their old logo, but then someone, princess anne i guess, says no let's let gamesbids.com/forums do it, because i'm princess anne. this is what it looks like to be a gay man and have no job. now is your chance to revenge LOCOGLOC and set the real legacy! introducing: the OFFICIAL design a better logo for LONDON 2012 LOGO COMPETITION. the competition is open to all. sadly, because of the tragedy of MH370, and since the requisite 180 days of islamic mourning has not fully passed, it would not be appropriate for us, the LOGOCOC logo organizing committee, to allow any bids from malaysia, as a sign of respect. there are rules, of course. POINTS: each submitted logo will receive 16,000 points upon submission. to balance things out, for every subsequent comment another forum member makes about your logo, you will lose 1,300 points. for every week your logo remains up, you will receive 800 points. points can also be earned through special BONUS challenges that will be awarded throughout the competition. the first bonus point competition is what is krow's favorite color and is worth 750 points. WINNING: those with the most points at the end of the 2 week entry period will advance to a VOTING LIGHTNING round where there will be more voting than lightning. a winner will be chosen by the general public. because we are going off a points system, it is technically possible to proceed to voting without submitting a logo, although a difficult task to be sure. COLOR PALATE: every logo that contains the color brown will receive 2,501 bonus points. however, the more... post christmas turkey turd than chocolate the better. improper shades of brown will receive only 1 bonus point. i also forgot to mention that the person with the most points will be SAFE from elimination in the bonus round, and the person in 2nd place will receive 2 bonus votes to their total. totally meant to mention that before. SPECS: logos must be submitted in normal format and once in lavender or aqua color scale because i am redoing my bedroom and i want one of the walls one of those colors and i need ideas (maybe teal too? teal scale will get you 3,460 points). DESIGN: you may design any way you like using any program you like. although hand drawn logos will receive a bonus 7,200 points -- because of the inherent disadvantage. i don't want you to spend a lot of time on this but i'm sure you can do something better than london because it's easy. ENTERING: i will enter this competition because i have a lot of ideas. i will probably hand draw my logo because the bonus points are alluring. i can also win challenges and i am the ONLY person who can think up challenges unless i designate a secondary challenge designator. right now i designate: ROB, ROLTEL, PAUL, PYROKENISIS, and OFAN97 to be able to create challenges for points for this competition. any of them can now create challenges and win them themselves so you have to be quick. PICTURES AND GIFS: you will receive 531 points for every related funny picture and gif you post. unless it's not funny, then no points. you will lose 49.6 points for any pictures of tacos hint hint lol NAMES: every logo needs a name. not like a stupid slogan: bringing the world together in london: one voice, one truth or something but like a NAME, like sadie or alexandra. if you name your logo sadie, i'll give you 2,300 points. lilian gets 400 points and fefe gets 2,301 points. one name per entry, so no like 30 sadies because sadie is a special name and should not be over used. i may give more points if i like your name more. POINTS II: points are subject to inflation or deflation based on the popularity of this competition. for every extra page this thread gets to, points will be inflated by 10 percent, but if it doesn't get at least one page a day, point values will be deflated by 10 percent. CHALLENGE NO. II: every logo comp needs a theme song. 12,000 bonus points to the theme song i pick nominated by YOU. RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. POINT VALUES SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THIS COMPETITION WILL BE OPEN UNTIL THE FIRST LOW TIDE IN SYDNEY AUSTRALIA ON THE NEXT NORTHERN HEMISPHERE HALF MOON. IF I KEEP IT OPEN LONGER EVERYONE GETS 2,900 BONUS POINTS. BY POSTING IN THIS THREAD YOU ARE ENTERING THIS COMPETITION AND I WILL GIVE YOU 511 FREE BONUS POINTS. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFER TO ANYONE IN THIS COMP AS ESCANDALO MONTANA. THIS THREAD AND COMP WILL BE OUTRAGEOUS, HILARIOUS, SHAMELESS, AND I PROMISE GRATUITOUS NUDITY (404 POINTS FOR HAND DRAWN TASTEFUL NUDITY). I WILL UPDATE THE LEADERBOARD OBSESSIVELY AND BUMP SHAMELESSLY. THIS COMPETITION OPERATES ON MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME. i want us all to have a lot of FUN here. so let's laugh and not take ourselves too seriously but if you do take yourself too seriously i will give you 1,100 points, so you have to play it careful you know? also, 1,452 points for every typo you point out in this thread (capital letters don't count, -3,000 points if you suggest that). OH AND YOU CAN HAVE NEGATIVE POINTS! LEADERBOARD tnmp - 8594 athensfan - 4771 lord d - 3065 jmarksnow - 2874 tony e - 2568 mr.bern - 2141 paul - 1374 ofan97 - 674 krow - 674 points rob- 314 OH thatsnotmypuppy can also do challenges & points, duh. please APPLY THRU ME FOR PERMISSION TO DO CHALLENGES. I CAN NOT HAVE EVERYONE DOING CHALLENGES BECAUSE THAT DEFEATS EVERYTHING AND I AM A GOOD ORGANIZER. PS: 201 points to the fourth responder in this thread too and all responses that end in 4 (14, 24). TODAY IS THE 24TH THAT IS WHY I AM DOING THIS. PS if someone wants to double check my math i can give them like 1,030 points or something PPS that whole thing about pricness anne was supposed to mean that she's like a gay man and has no job. i don't know if you got that or why i thought that was an amusing thing to say. frankly, it was a little offensive.
  4. mine was freaking annoying. i think he had aspergers, so i broke up with him. not sure if he's noticed or not. (it was like talking to myself for four months.) anyway, i want to hear all about your boyfriend. what does he do? what color brown is his hair? will you trust him to pick me up when i'm too drunk to drive that we won't hook up because my friend jose's boyfriend doesn't. i guess if you have a girlfriend or smthng you can talk about her but i'm not reading that ****.
  5. i know you miss puppy but since he's not back from his trip barebacking through asia or whatever it is he's doing, we both thought you deserved a rare peek at what GB celebrities are talking about when they think you're not looking! here's every PM puppy & i have exchanged since i started saving them and not deleting them to make room for more tony questions. (i'd post my PMs with him, but i'm sure you got the same ones). People seem to know it is just high theatre. We have had our turf wars before. I think we should hone in on a combined target and just go to town on them. krow, on 22 Oct 2014 - 2:27 PM, said: ok but only if it's random and unprovoked. like my random jabs at faster who hasn't done anything wrong in like 5 years thatsnotmypuppy, on 22 Oct 2014 - 2:32 PM, said: Definitely. HE PROBABLY DIDN'T EVEN STEAL THE LOGO. lol, character assassination indeed. it's nice to have a thing going like me and you where we can do outrageous, scandalous things and people think it's great instead of fighting with us or thinking we're crazy (like baron) because we're funny and oh "it's just puppy and krow." i think this is happy wine. it's making me too happy. thatsnotmypuppy, on 08 Jan 2015 - 10:34 PM, said: I love my totally dismissive support "came to you organically" lol... Not at all. Just his stealth attempt at saying "oh hai bois - I is a gai!" with such a pious post. Fly that rainbow flag high I say. krow, on 17 Jan 2015 - 10:37 AM, said: lol i know. i just wanted to sneak a pious post in of my own. that video was dumb and i didn't even watch it (but i did see the gifs so that counts) thatsnotmypuppy, on 17 Jan 2015 - 5:24 PM, said: LOL gifs are the best invention ever. Then I will demand any votes for Darcy be null and void as he is an insufferable twat. DO IT DO IT!!! krow, on 24 Jan 2015 - 9:36 PM, said: you need to call in favors from your A list friends and get them posting in my thread! what?? you don't have any A list friends? damn, me neither. i hate being a fringe A lister. we're the courtney love of gamesbids. great at parties but nobody will take our calls. thatsnotmypuppy, on 24 Jan 2015 - 9:44 PM, said: American Sweetheart is such a fucking great album. You should have created a new dummy account for your current incarnation and staged an conversation with your alter ego - this breeding an air of insanity and uncertainty. Then 'krow' could have splintered off TELA style. I gotta say - the kid is a fucking genius. I'm loving taking this high and mighty paternal stance and feeding the troll. ENGLAND!!! krow, on 13 Feb 2015 - 2:01 PM, said: man, i gotta start running my stunts past you for brainstorming. that sounds hilarious: krow arguing with krow about krow. is a better thread conceivable??? as for TELA -- genius just about sums it up. he can create 2 page havoc with a simple "end of" whereas you and i have just about exhausted our currency in that department. krow, on 13 Feb 2015 - 2:04 PM, said: oh well i guess there's nothing left to do but go fully split personality disorder like toni collette in that one show and create a new krow account that claims ߷ locked him out. and then pick a random thread to have an epic back and forth fight. thatsnotmypuppy, on 13 Feb 2015 - 2:18 PM, said: I suggest that that could indeed by an annual best thread award winning prime time simulcast event. End of.
  6. the dress is the only thing i can talk about. i don't have time for anything else tonight, except visiting dozens of articles about the dress and refreshing twitter to read more about the dress, and texting people, who for whatever reason don't care about the dress, about the dress. i am literally rocking back and forth possessed by the dress. wtf was i going so crazy over ߷ for when it's all about the dress??? i mean, it's gold and white, obviously, but apparently it's really not. it just looks that way to people who can see. so why do people see different colors? apparently from one of the 352 articles i've just read: What The **** Is Wrong With Your Eyes? A Dress Explainer
  7. Recently I've come to the tragic conclusion that "krow" must die. "krow" as you have come to know "him" is a relic. "He" exists in a sexist, archaic male-dominated, patriarchal, misogynistic, homophobic society that gives lip service to the different, to the unique, to the independent while prizing nothing but bland, anodyne conformity. "He" is an intolerable symbol of everything worth hating in the world. Your names are, too. "krow" evokes ravenous birds. Anachronistic, racist laws from the American south. Catchy pop hits like "Soak Up the Sun." No capital letters. "krow" was a tasteless, bland attempt at subversive humor. Tired, offensive stunts. Tireless self-promotion and personal branding. "krow" had become a shell of its original intent. Doomed from the start to be nothing more than a pawn playing by the rules (more or less) in an unjust society; content to subvert just enough to get a quick rise, he had become the GamesBids equivalent to the discount airline who offers $1 fares and films reactions for a viral marketing campaign. A despicable, complacent creature. A well-known "A-lister" with powerful connections running deep into the GamesBids elite. "krow" was everything "krow" would have hated. "krow" is dead. Long live ߷. What, you might ask, is ߷? ߷ is freedom from an oppressive, restrictive alphabet. From the binds of modern social convention. From social normatives. From "krow." ߷ rejects "krow" Some of you maybe can't see ߷. IDK what to tell you, upgrade your browser or something. I will no longer reply to "krow." I will no longer reply to any name that has oppressed me in the past. My state of mind, in its present enlightenment, will only permit me to be addressed as ߷. More traditionally, ߷ is a Gbakurunen, a symbol from the N'ko West African writing system that represents the three stones that hold a cooking pot over the fire. But to you it cannot be pronounced any more than it can be thought of or even written. ߷ is just a representation for ߷. It is not the only representation for ߷, just the most logical. To those who use the N'ko writing system, it signifies the end of a period of text, kind of like the three stars you see in some novels that means the end of one part of a chapter but not the full, real end of the chapter. But ߷ isn't an ending. Nor is it a beginning. It represents my three natures, removed from the hateful binary that enslaves this society. I am not male. I am not female. I am ߷. It is a gender. It is a name. It is a state of mind. It is the Alpha and the Omega. It means I love you. It means I hate you. It kind of looks dirty. It means this portion of the text is over. It is open to interpretation. It is free of sexism and hate. It is full of sexism and hate. It is no one thing without being the other. It is a paradox. It is a mystery. It is an open-ended question. It has an answer. The answer, of course, is ߷.
  8. as leader of the most popular lunch table clique at this high school, i considered just telling you who was on the gamesbids A list and who were lesser satellites orbiting like rocky, baron moons around our brilliance, whose importance waxes and wanes cyclically -- and also, who were annoying, barely noticeable pests like so many gnats in your face after a twilight game of flag football by the lake. but i like to give you the impression that this cheerocracy is a democracy so i've decided to let you vote, eurovision style, for your favorite GB members -- the official gamesbids A list. the winners, the top 10 (the number of american idol finalists that get to go on tour for that sweet, sweet six figure check -- love you ramiele malubay!), will be on the A list. then you get the B list, C list, D list etc. you don't need me to tell you where the B list ends and the C list begins and all that. it'll be pretty obvious, i promise. if you don't want your vote public because of vicious, vicious drama or you're too canadian or something, you can PM it to me. if you don't want to PM it to me because you think i'm just going to tell everyone your votes the next time i get drunk, you can PM your votes to sir rols and he will pass it along to me without your name. (i haven't, like, cleared this with rols or anything, but he'll probably do it 'cause he's got the time. he likes to be put upon. it makes him feel useful, and i like to make people feel better about themselves when i'm not making fun of faster) THIS IS HOW IT WORKS: you give one member 12 pts, the next 10, then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points. totals will be added with my shitty windows 8 light blue calculator and we will have an A list. pecking orders will be established. your feelings will probably get hurt, unless you're CAF because then you will have won and even i will have to concede an equal if not a superior. ALSO ROLS will you like do all the math and basically run this thing for me if i forget or think this is stupid when i wake up tomorrow? no, no i'll do it i guess but i need someone reliable and organized. i'm an IDEAS person. and i guess you can read all this and not vote or whatever, but it's your loss because the A list is happening whether you like it or not and even if you go "oh whatever this is sooo dumb and my name is quaker2001" you'll still be aware of the A list and psychologically, on some level, it will still color your view and interactions with the members of this site, and everyone else's with yours, like, scientifically or something. so, just throwing that out there. you don't have to do all the points if you get bored or you forget or you're paying more attention to a roseanne rerun or something. YOU CAN VOTE FOR YOURSELF BUT IT'S TACKY AS HELL. unless you do it anonymously but then rols will still know. i can't tell you your strategy on this thing. i will go first 12 points - rob (effortless A lister) 10 points - thatsnotmypuppy 8 points - rols (thx for running this comp, btw. should have put you higher.) 6 points - michelle (idc if she never logs in again, this girl is A list) 5 points - the tower bridge fox (well someone's gotta vote for him) 4 points - FYI 3 points - CAF 2 points - michael warren (i will never forget the magical week we spent together in sochi in my head) 1 point - me tacky! 0 points - faster
  9. private votes and i won't cheat because the stakes are so low. it's been a while since i won anything. just genuinely curious if you prefer me to england, the subdivision of the UK with 50 million people and a medium sized clock tower. you have to vote your gut on this one.
  10. following up on the revelation that mr berhnham doesn't like short people, bizarrely, i thought i'd poll gamesbids.com/forums, continuing my new tradition of creating hit threads that spark stimulating intellectual debate, like 'happy easter! does god exist?' and 'redesign the london 2012 logo contest' (big success. btw, i won the whole thing). there is only one true height, which is different from the ideal sexy height of 6' even. i don't know centimeters but i will google for the good of the forum. did you know google has made things so lazy for us, you don't even have to click out of the toolbar search to get a conversion anymore?
  11. cut and dry, yes or no. also, there's no "i don't know." that's a cop out. you know. if you must, pretend we're sitting indian style at a sleepover and playing that game where you have to say the first thing that comes into your head. peanut butter or jelly (peanut butter). red or blue? (red). athensfan or FYI? (FYI. eeee omg don't hate me!) yes god or no god? and no "i'm spiritual, not religious" choice either 'cause that drives me nuts. "oh, you know, i have a spiritual side for sure, but i don't go to church." you know what that is? polite conversation. you can hold that view and still vote in my poll. the game of thrones choice is a gag. it's 'no + GoT fan' for all intents and purposes, but kind of like pleading 'no contest' instead of 'guilty' because who the hell wants to admit they're guilty when you can admit to liking game of thrones instead? i would also care to hear your thoughts. i'm certain we can keep this civil. or maybe not. there's a 50/50 chance it's going to become a tony e bash thread anyway.
  12. one of the greatest things about next to no american stars this olympics is all the foreign athlete special interest pieces we're being treated to. usually you have to have won 3 golds and have been born deaf, dumb and gay to get a 2 minute spot on primetime. apparently, tina maze splits her time between being a POPSTAR and a GOLD MEDAL SKIIER and REALLY PRETTY (a fulltime job in itself). that is seriously 3/5 of what i would consider the perfect life. (tied only with carla bruni: zillion dollar heiress, first lady of france, popstar -- another tie!) eurovision gays: what's your verdict on "my way is my decision"? i like that she has vision, decision, and a dream. but at this point what's left to dream for? getting to have sex in space? snagging newly single francois hollande?
  13. all these light threads lately + my reference to the fact that tony e. should read a book in the sochi nations thread (he really should; a tale of two cities, perhaps?) + the fact that we're all restless this month before sochi had me wondering what everyone's favorite books are. this saturday is my weekend a month to drive downtown to the fantastic LA central library, so i'm wondering what i should checkout. if i respect you, i will certainly take your suggestions into serious consideration. if i don't, well, i guess you're posting for the rest of the board, baron, not that you've ever read any book but your own. my favorite three, and this was hard because i was tempted to include frankenstein or david copperfield. maybe i should have made this top 5: dangerous liaisons lolita the jewel in the crown by paul mark scott (great miniseries; better book) PS tony e, one of the cities in "a tale of two cities" is LONDON. try not to skim the paris parts.
  14. rascall? aidyn jaymes? alyvia? edward or isabelle? katniss? i'd name her victoria jane and call her janie. no, maybe i'd just call her princess like my friend's older sister's mixed terrier mutt.
  15. we all take lots of care not to get robbed while on vacation—especially at a mark heaven like the olympics—but it's sometimes unavoidable. occasionally, traveling in groups, avoiding unlit areas, and securing valuables just isn't enough. given that lots of us will be traveling to these 2 fine, second-world cities in the next few years, we should have a thoughtful and completely sensationalistic discussion on which of the most likely street crimes we should watch out for in each city. this isn't to say that these crimes will happen to you when you visit these cities, but, rather, where are they more likely to happen to you? (and fyi, they probably will happen to you when you visit these cities). because this forum is lame, i had 3 more questions that wouldn't fit. answer in the comments, please: ...Receive a call from the credit card i've been using reporting identity theft and strange purchases? ...Get charged $90 for the same cab ride that usually costs $30? ...Lose my watch to a sticky-fingered maid?
  16. i like to think about this question a lot with the people i meet for the first time as an adult. i like thinking about my brother and my bffs and compare their childhoods to today. there are some people who i can never imagine being children ever, like my aunt. i think i was a little petulant (duh) but easily guilted by my parents. i had something of a temper too. i didn't intentionally start this thread to talk all about myself, but someone has to go first. i had a subscription to the national enquirer and i never missed my x-files i wouldn't do my homework if there was something good on FOX that night i had a recurring dream about my house being on fire. i once tried to see if it was possible to fit my mattress out my window in case i had to jump and land on something. when i got really angry, i used to take a belt and strip the paint off my door as hard as i could. i once threw a silverware holder at a senior counselor at sleepaway camp and lost a shoe in the ensuing chase through the woods i practically was grisabella from cats when i was seven when my brother broke my foot when i was 11 he told me i couldn't cry until i knew it was broken, so i didn't i refused to join boyscouts because the meeting was on friday night and that was the same night as cybill. i spent a lot of time alone in my basement drawing on the floor my favorite book was about these toys that came to life to help these old people keep their home; i read a connecticut yankee in king arthur's court a lot for some reason i sang in the children's choir; i was good with accents i could never bring myself to light bugs on fire. oh, and if you don't respond to this thread i'm just going to make up what i imagine your bullet points to be at work tomorrow.
  17. because seriously. i'm just so in love with this sport that i'd like to take it to sunday brunch at that new farm-to-table place on melrose and then have all its friends pop out from the back right when i propose to it with a moderately priced quarter carat ring in a glass of krug, paid for by my mother-in-law. the first race on this is a can't miss. the entire vancouver ski cross for men! gonna watch the womens tomorrow and i can't friggen wait. http://youtu.be/DAOThtbnbQA i mean, bmx is nice for a summer alternative, but as sinead would say, ski cross, nothing compares 2U. this sport. i mean, i can't even believe it exists it's so cool. **** you lindsey vonn, like you could even step to my ashley mcivor.
  18. i'm liking the no baron around here. seems quieter, pretty chill around here. i like reading the threads. he's an angry person with lots of time on his hands. did i ever tell you about the time i met a former member who had dinner with him? he said he was rude to the wait staff. i'm one of those people that that is just it. you can't be rude to the waitstaff. also: he snapped his fingers. i'm just going to leave that right there without comment. anyway, more time for him to write another book with grainy pictures that bigdrew can trash on amazon.
  19. spending my time very productively today, i have compiled 20 of the sorta hottest speedskaters from both teams. PLEASE vote on the overall hotness of the team. alternately, if there is one team member who you just have to have, that's ok too. the drawback of this thread is the lack of thighs, of course. i am aware of the problem but you will just have to oogle thighs on your own time. this is a family website. oh, and no, i don't have NAMES. no one knows their names unless they just won a gold yesterday. prolly faster thinks he does. faster what do you think? TEAM USA TEAM CANADA ps: SOME of team canada may not be still on team canada because google gave me a 2010 list before i corrected it. please let's not get pedantic. pps: i also wrote this itinerary of what a speedskater does all day for an alternate thread i was going to do, until i decided on the poll. i'll just include it here. 'cause, well, bullet points, that's why. wake up at 5 am sharp throw on spandex, cycle around the suburbs where you own a pretty nice three bedroom, $450,000 house, mostly paid for by the home depot ad you did in 2010 have a delicious hydrolyzed whey protein and casein shake warm up for a bit, probably to U2 and nine inch nails resistance + cardio & cooldown - throw on some adele bullet points!! seriously, where have they been all my life? drive to the rink in your prius (too much equipment to bike). if you're american you prolly have to drive a ford 'cause of sponsors and stuff (sux). if you're canadian, well, you ride your skiing moose, obvs. sprints or stamina around the track for a bit. get a peptalk with your pricey coach for a bit (you're on the team, so you don't pay). listen to how he cinched a bronze in the 84 worlds for like the billionth time. lean chicken and vegetables (read: chicken mcnuggets) + shake with lots of acronymed ingredients. mcdonald's pays your bills, but you would never actually admit you eat it. squats and stuff with pals, but really just chatting it up. work a bit harder when the coach comes in. hit the ice again to cool down. really just dream about beating china next time. go home and update your ipod workout playlist. less leona lewis tomorrow. admire your hotness in the mirror. practice various witty lines to say to bob costas on tv in case you win a medal next time. make that teeth whitening appointment for next week, just in case (americans only). plus you get to train and race with the team and stuff.
