Pretty much sums it up. IOC's in a tough spot on this one. I wonder if the IOC's new requirement around human rights is designed to give them a Hail Mary option (Salt Lake, Vancouver, or Calgary)?

2015 will be the year that will be showing the faith of 6 bidders (3-4 perhaps with the cut) to host the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. A pretty random race, everyone expected a German-Norweigan showndown that won't happen. As you know I was a total supporter of a Munich bid which for me would have been the clear frontrunner... For me, this stands this way... - Stockholm: Sweden tried to much in the past century and in 2002 the last time... It'd be fair enough for a winter contry that never has hosted to win this race. - Oslo: always strong Norway, but Lillehammer hosting YOG may give us the feeling it may be tine for others. - Lviv: probablly they won't make the cut, but the idea is nice Ukraine's firs bid may also be a ''experince gainer for future'' - Krakow: although IOC doesn't alows tw countries to bid together if they can market their bid well... they could fight. - Beijing: China, shtap... you wil get it but not now. - Almaty: for me sounds exotic, I see Almaty as a candidate city. They ned to change some flaws for their recent bid to be in . However it will serve as another ''experince gainer''. So how is the scenario for u guys? December maybe a cold month, such as the 2022 race... let's warm it up.
