With 30 members voting, we're now down to a top four in the Tokyo 2020 logo comp. Unfortunately, we now see barrack's design drop out! Thanks for entering barrack, it was great to see a past champ entering again, and making the finals in both sections. Well done! The final results were: A (nzl) - 10 B (barrack) - 1 C (mr.bernham) - 3 D (paul) - 12 (one vote from stir.ts re-allocated from E to D) E (aismanggo) - 4 (see above) All votes cast were valid. Okay, onto round 2: This voting round will be open for (approximately) 24 hours - it will close after 7am, Thursday

And now it's down to five. We had a strong voting turnout of 30 members having their say. I discount one vote from barrack's (an own vote), but otherwise all the rest were valid. The results were: A (Thatsnotmypuppy) - 8 B (Anthony) - 3 C (nzl) - 15 D (MissEurasia)- 3 E (barrack) - 10 (1 own vote deducted) F (Mr Bernham) - 11 G (OlympicFanDarcy) - 2 H (Griff) - 3 I (JMarkSnow) - 3 J (DannyelBrazil) - 9 K (Scotguy) - 7 L (baron-pierreIV) - 7 M (Afiqnadzir) - 9 N (woohooitsme83) - 5 O (aismanggo) - 14 P (paul) - 19 Q (Usa2024olympics) - 2 C, E, F, O and P make it through to our

Okay, hit it Kirsten, Thanks to the beautiful and talented Kirsten Dunst for helping us all Turn Japanese for the summer leg of the GamesBids Tokyo 2020 Logo Comp. And welcome everybody to Yoshi's Island, which I presume is somewhere in the seas around Japan. Soyoshi and Palette have kindly agreed to host us on the island for the duration of the 2020 vote, and in return have a special task for us to complete during our time in pixel land. But more on that later. More to the point, it's now time to decide our short list of five entries from the 17 Tokyo 2020 logo designs submitted ab

And yet another nail-biting round has closed with only two points separating all three contenders and the top two tied. This sets the scene for a knife-edge head-to-head fight for the final crown. The final results were: Barcelona (Danny) - 9 points Borjomi (barrack) - 11 votes Melbourne (aismanggo) - 11 points All votes cast were valid. We say goodbye to Danny's Barcelona. It's always tough come the final stages and get so close. Sad to see this one go Danny, but you get the Bronze Medal and I know you have a hot contender for Tokyo. So now we go to the decider, with barrac

Phew, that last round was close. With 30 members voting, there was only a point separating the top three. Unfortunately, we now see Paul's Harbin design drop out - Bye Bye Burr! Thanks for entering Paul, great to see you back in the arena and looking forward to see how your Tokyo logo fares in the 2020 section of the comp. The final results were: Barcelona (Danny) - 8 points Borjomi (barrack) - 8 votes Harbin (Paul) - 5 votes Melbourne (aismanggo) - 9 points All votes cast were valid. So aismanggo's Melbourne keeps its lead from every round, but that lead has dramatically narrowed. This

Well, in just two rounds weve managed to get 45 entries down to a final four - it may not have been pretty, but there was always going to be carnage to get to this point. Im sad to see some of these go - well done to all of you, thanks and commiserations. We had a strong voting turnout of 32 members )one of them late - see below - I've accepted it at organiser's discretion) having their say. For the first time ever, weve now gone three rounds without me needing to discount anyones votes - not even the usual January ring-ins tried it on again this year. The results were: A (Anthony)
