Incheon 2014 Asian Games Sweepstakes.
Tony E Loves Architecture posted a topic in Asian Games / Bids
Let's carry on with Sweepstakes. This is the Incheon 2014 Sweepstakes Hosted by Me, Tony Edwards (Tony E Loves Architecture). If You could post if You want to participate and I will do a random draw to decide which Member has which Country for the Asian Games. Depending on how many join these Sweepstakes, I will then decide the Countries that will participate, which will be decided by the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China Medal Table. So if 10 Members decide to participate, then the Top 10 Countries from the Medal Table of Guangzhou 2010 will be put into the Draw. I will let You all decide- 27 replies

Brasov is currently Bidding for the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. (I noticed no thread for Brasov, and as they are an Official Bidder like Lausanne, they should have a thread). Also for the City of Brasov, a planned Brand New Stadium is in plan for 23,000 Seats (Possible Opening and Closing Ceremonies Venue if Brasov gets the hosting rights). http://stadiumdb.com/designs/rou/stadionul_municipal_brasov (Source: StadiumDB.com).

I will put up 2 Stadium Designs and everyone can vote on their favorite one. This is an Opinion poll and not a fact. The Stadium choice should be based on Architectural Design and not Location, Capacity or History. Here is the first duo: Maracana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. VS National Stadium, Brasilia, Brazil.

Just done some research and noticed Russia wants to Bid for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. Kazan and St Petersburg have both proposed visions to Bid. If they were, who would you support? Kazan or St Petersburg. I would personally support Kazan, as it would be a great backdrop from the 2013 Summer Universiade and is a beautiful city. Kazan is the Capital of Sport in Russia.
