Hm... Ya got a point, they can convert the Olympic Village into a Museum too and have tours etc. If Berlin were to host 2024 or 28 I would think they would demolish that whole area for a new Olympic Village in its place.

So the whole building looks like crap, except for that one room???
Technically, yes, but the inside of the House of Nations (Resteraunt) looks shabby insidr but still looks kind of decent:

I think this is it:

Ok, so, this year will mark the first ever European Games and they will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan. The 2019 host will be chosen on an unknown date in May 2015. So far the candidates are:
-Minsk, Belarus
-Amsterdam/Rotterdam, Netherlands
-Multiple Bids from Poland
-Kazan or Sochi, Russia
-Istanbul or Mersin, Turkey
Who do you think should bid/host?
I would say Minsk TBH.

TBH, I wouldn't mind seeing Korea host another SOG, even though Pyongyang is hosting 2018, Busan, Incheon and Seoul would all make great hosts.
Lol, correction: Pyeongchang
My tablet chose auto correct...

Wow is that Barcelona's? Hadn't seen that before. And Melbourne's is a great bid book.
Yep, that's Barcelona's Bid Books, Also, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on Seoul 1988 and Nagoya 1988.

I still think the U.S were robbed of the team bronze medal and Silivas should have won All-Around Gold.
Gymnastics Team Finals-Judges made a 0.5 deduction only because the US Alternate, Rhonda Faehn, was standing on the podium, she was helping put the springboards away so I don't know why they would deduct over that, if it weren't for that deduction then US would have won Team Bronze, not East Germany.

Look, I know that a Havana bid is a longshot, especially in 2028 or 2032 with lots of cities considering, but I after watching the 1991 Pan Am Games Ceremonies, I thought 'What If Havana bid for the 2028 Summer Olympics or 2032'? It would be costly but it would kinda be awesome to see Havana be the first Carribean City host the Olympics, it would also be a chance for them to upgrade/renovate some of the unused and vandalised venues such as Estadio Panamericano and Jose Marti Parqueo Stadium.
^Carried On: I thought I might share that with y'all and get your opinions, ideas and thoughts.

Well, I didn't mean downloading from Utube, I know that would cause trouble, what I meant was if any of you guys have footage...
-
Yeah, I read somewhere that it is legal for only personal use, not distributing?

Ok, so, I made this thread because I need some help, you see, I love watching Women's Gymnastics. Especially back in the 90's. I love watching the US Trials, Individual All Arounds & Team Events.
Problem: I have to watch them online on Utube or Dailymotion, I like to watch them on TV and have them on a DVD rather than going through the internet. I was wondering if any of you guys have full videos of the following: 1992 Womens US Olympic Trials, 1992 Individual All Around, 1992 Team Event. I would be very pleased if you guys can email them to me if you have any of them. Thanks, and I'll keep looking too!

Well, they found something for it:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-03-12/berlin-1936-olympic-site-reborn-as-housing-on-city-s-edge
Hate it when they intend to turn a site where a lot of history took place into lousy Housing and Apartment buildings...
